Me, too. And of course it kinda fixed itself AFTER I'd already weighed and eaten breakfast. Sigh. I'm going to try adding a little more fruit to my day. I'm not sure why I'm suddenly having some issues again after being much more normal for a while.

But I dropped 0.8 immediately afterward (yes, I weighed before and after, because I was curious). So hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'd like to see it drop some before the big Austin dinner on Saturday.

Sigh. So based on my bedtime weight, I should have been about 125.6 today. But then I was up the entire night because of HUGE thunderstorms (and one tunneling dog), which also messes up the scale. So 127.0 today. But I'm assuming that if all goes as planned today, and the storms let up so I can get some sleep tonight, I will finally see that 125 number. Point something, but that's fine.

Unfortunately, the storms are not abating at all-or least not in Collin County. I meant to ask is the Body Bugg waterproof at all? I was thinking about taking a water aerobic class a couple times a week and was wondering how it would go about calculating for that activity. Of course that depends on when I actually get to order mine. I am hoping we won't need a new roof!

Nope, it's not waterproof. You'd have to take it off and manually input your activity and how long you did it, and then it would estimate the calorie burn based on the rest of your data. I don't think it's very helpful, though, for water activities.

And I know, it's still ranging here in Dallas, too. But hopefully it'll stop by tonight (preferably by the time I go home, but at least by bedtime).

STILL not down. 126.8 today, but I'm wondering if it's because of the bigger calorie deficits, since the last time I had such big deficits I didn't lose at all. So maybe after the big dinner (and once the salt from tht is out of my system), I'll get my drop. By Monday, my official BodyBugg weigh-in day.

Meanwhile, I'm going to try to eat a little more today and have a smaller deficit.

Yeah, Robin, I bet the bigger deficits have something to do with it ! I will be interested to see how it goes for you over the next couple days. Tonight is your big meal ? Hope you have fun :).

I missed you, too, Alex! Were you happy with the Cup finals? I was just glad to see the Wings lose. :)

Made it through the Austin weekend pretty well. I stuck to my plan at Fogo de Chao - lots of veggies from the salad bar, only one little cheese biscuit, no plantains, about a teaspoon of potatoes, ate only the meats I liked (if I didn't like something after a bite or two, it stayed on my plate), passed on the sausage and anything wrapped in bacon, and had half a piece of angel food cake at the end (and only because it was served to me before I had a chance to say no, plus the person who baked it and her 9-year-old who helped were sitting right next to me). And then walked a bunch after dinner while my friend and I tried to find some live music - and make our way past all the 40,000 bikers in town for the Republic of Texas motorcycle rally. Plus even though I was tired the next morning, I ran my heart out at the hotel gym, had egg whites and veggies for breakfast, and got home without stopping for fast food or anything. Yay. Weight's up (128.2!!) because the food was VERY salty Saturday night, but I'm hoping it'll be gone in a day or so.

Hope everyone's doing well.

Sounds like you had a great night out! And a whole trip without snacking? That's pretty amazing if you ask me. I can barely go 15 minutes in the car without wanting a drink or something. Of course, I can barely go that long at home, too, so maybe it's not the traveling that does it....

125 is coming this week - I feel it.... Yep, it's coming!

I sure hope so. I'm slowly losing the salt from Friday and Saturday, so I'm at 127.0 today. But I'm swimming in the pants I wore today (weird, because I have another pair that's exactly the same but a different color, and they weren't loose yesterday) and my watch is loose. So I'm hoping to see more progress by the morning. Any drop would be nice, but a number below 126 would make me VERY happy.

I've had to cut back a little on food, though. It's too hot to walk outside at lunchtime, so I just have the one morning workout most days (although it's been getting longer and longer lately, because I watch the BodyBugg and stay on the treadmill till I hit my calorie goal). I'm still really happy with my food lately, though. (And I'm still not overdoing it with the Weight Watchers ice cream treats. I'm still pretty amazed by that, and if I ever get enough room in my freezer, I'm going to be really brave and buy the giant Costco pack instead.)

I feel wonderful when I can have just a little of a treat and feel satisfied. It seems like a major victory - so I totally get the thrill of having ice cream in the freezer and not eating it. Because I have been known to eat almost a whole half gallon all by myself in one sitting - you know, you just grab the carton and a spoon and watch TV and before you know it, the thing is empty? Actually, there's ice cream in the freezer right now and I'm not eating it - but I don't know if that really counts, because I forgot it was there until just now.

I will be doing the 125 dance for you this week. If you do the 265 dance for me. Two of the digits are the same, at least, even though my 2 is in a bad place. :-P

Well, I started with the 2 in the wrong column, too; we all have to start somewhere! I'd be happy to do a dance for your scale fairy (and maybe it'll burn a few extra calories)!

I almost got a bigger container of light ice cream last weekend, but I decided I'm doing just fine with the individually sized things, and I'm probably better off keeping it that way instead of measuring out servings. Because I'll measure out one serving, but then go back for a second and a third ... until there's so little left that I'll just finish off the carton. It's the one food that up until a few weeks ago I refused to keep in the house. I can stay away from everything else, but never ice cream. Till now, I guess. Although the temptation to have a second helping is still there sometimes.

126.8, so still up a fraction - and more important, still not dropping to where I SHOULD be by now. Sigh. But I know there are no "shoulds," and I'll get there eventually. I just wish it would be sooner rather than later.

Today was a running day. 70 minutes, 5.15 miles (because I alternate running and walking, and do speed intervals the first half, but not very fast ones). Polar said I burned more than 650 calories; BodyBugg said it was more like 530. Either way, it means I get to have a WW ice cream cup tonight. :)

That's a heck of a lot of running/walking. I still have the attitude that if I'm going to work out, the exercise is not getting more than 20 minutes of my day.

If I kept it to 20 minutes, I'd have to eat a whole lot less!! With just my normal activity, I burn about 1400 calories a day. Even if I ran the full 20 minutes, that would add less than 200 calories to that total.
