Sing Sing is a place with dueling pianos and a big sing-along. We went to a similar place at Disney World and had a blast, and then did one on a Disney cruise that was also great. But this one ... I don't know if it was because it was a Tuesday night, but it was HORRIBLE. We were both really disappointed.

Anyway, I'm finally back. Weight this morning was 130.6, so basically right where I was when I left (which is good, since I had a second free meal Tuesday night). The only bad thing is I spent so much time this morning catching up and searching for something for my little cousin on the Internet that I think I'm messed up on the workout. Argh. I was so good while I was gone, I know an extra day off won't kill me, but I really don't want to get into the habit of missing workouts. Argh.

My cousin took one, so I'll be e-mailing it to Unca some time this week. Don't know when I'll do the Glamour Shots thing. I need to look for something to wear first.

Oh, and today's meal plan (still increasing calories/carbs, working toward the BFL ratio):

South Beach turkey/bacon wrap with mustard instead of the light mayo they included
Oatmeal, 1/2 cup blueberries
Non-plan soy crisps
Salad with chicken and 1/4 cup low-fat feta, 1 low-carb tortilla
Body For Life bar
RTD

Calories 1027, 41% protein, 33% carb, 26% fat

130.6, and did Burn It Up as soon as I got up and let the dogs out. Didn't feel like it at ALL, but yay me for doing it anyway.

Today's plan:
South Beach breakfast wrap, American (I don't want to eat so much prepared food, but I've gotten so used it, it's hard; plus I forgot to buy eggs or egg whites and some omelet-type veggies)
SB breakfast wrap, Southwestern, and half a cup of blueberries
Non-plan soy crisps
Salad with chicken and two low-carb tortillas
Non-plan soy crisps
RTD

1,053 calories, 45% protein, 32% carb, 23% fat. My ratios still aren't quite right, but I'm getting there. I think I'll do better when I make my own wraps, starting this weekend.

Another revelation: I've been getting more sodium lately because of the prepared foods and eating out. So I may actually weigh less than what the scale's been saying. I'll know better next week, after I pick up some eggs and such so I can make my own breakfast wraps and not eat the packaged kind as often.

It's so weird to be cooking and buying food again, other than just my little lean and green stuff. I have so many more dishes to do!! I haven't even done a real shopping list in ages, since it's usually just the same stuff every time.

130.2, despite some major bloating from all the sodium the past few days and a sandbox issue (even though i've had TONS of fiber the past few days; I don't get it). Anyway, not bad after a few days of over 1,000 calories and more carbs.

Today's my totally free day: eat whatever, and no exercise (wouldn't usually be my day off, but I'm making an exception).

It's very weird to be eating "normal" food again. I'm not used to shopping and planning so much, not to mention all the preparation.

Very promising experience today: It's my first full free day, and because it's my bday I had given myself permission to really have anything I want. So I had to run to the supermarket and coming home it was about time for my next meal. I had earlier thought that maybe today I'd finally get some fast food or something, since there are so many chains here that I've never tried. But when I was thinking of what to have, fast food didn't even cross my mind. I found myself debating between a South Beach wrap, a Body For Life bar and Medifast oatmeal. How weird is that??? (The wrap won out. I figure since I'm already going to be eating carbs and whatever tonight, I might as well have the sodium-laden wrap, too, so I can get them out of the way. I bought some lower-sodium, low-fat turkey and ham so I can make my own wraps instead.)
