OK, deep breath. Things are MUCH better today. Saw the ortho yesterday; he says it's definitely a rotator cuff injury, but he doesn't think it's torn. I have to take painkillers/anti-inflammatories every six hours, ice it every night for 20 minutes, and avoid most arm/shoulder exercises because they'll aggravate. And then if it still hurts in four MORE weeks, I'll need an MRI. But he became my best friend when he said I could take OTC meds instead of prescription, and started to tell me to take four Advil at a time - then stopped himself, said, "But you're so small, you should make it three." Love him; he's clearly brilliant.
Anyway, this morning I had my fruit serving instead of the pastry thing before my workout, and while it wasn't stellar, it was at least decent. I ran 22 minutes, and walked the rest. I'm going to do a 3-mile DVD later on, too, and just skip the upper body stuff.
Oh, and weight's slowly dropping back down from the bloat, cept it's my usual sandbox thing so I'm sure it'll be down more once that's resolved. Which should be today or tomorrow, if my body sticks to its weird pattern.
