Yeah, T, they tested me at my first doc visit. I had influenza A and a sinus infection on top of it. On the second visit (after a round of Tamiflu and antibiotics), they checked to see if the sinus infection was bacterial or viral (it was viral, so there wasn't much they could do). It's been over two weeks now, so I'm very glad to be feeling almost 100 percent.
It actually went very well when I gave notice. My boss said how sorry she is to lose me and how great I'll do at the new place, but there isn't a single person here who doesn't understand why I'm leaving. And now that two of us have left the department since our last hire (who was really just a transfer, since there's a freeze, and he was moved in after we lost two MORE people), they're going to fill my spot somehow (probably another transfer). So I'm happy to hear that, and I feel less guilty about leaving my colleagues in the lurch.
And now that I got a workout in, I feel much more positive about the new job - and about life, in general. I've been struggling with food lately, partly because of the illness and partly because I haven't had my workouts as an outlet. So I'm SO glad I was able to at least walk, and I'm going to do my PUSH workout tonight - although I'll do one of the earlier ones, since I don't think I can manage the one-armed pushups and one-legged squats just yet.
And my hamstring is aching, so now I REALLY feel like myself again.
