If you were a Catholic you would have had no problem with that. You have to do a very low curtsey everytime you go to church before you sit down.

Yeah, we have lots of weird things. I stilll haven't figured out how many times I am supposed to cross myself during the Mass. I think some of them might be optional.

I'd just do it as many times as possible. Catholics seem similar to Jews on the whole ritual thing. Like when in doubt, do extra.

Oh, wanted to tell you this morning I tried some of those counter push ups. WOW. Those will be the next step for me. I stopped at 5 because I had just done a bunch of crunches and it was kind of pulling on my abs too and OUCH. In a few days I will try some more.

Good for you! You'll be doing boy pushups in no time!!

My abs and butt are screaming at me now. In retrospect, I should have done the bonus butt thing the same day I did the other workout instead of prolonging the soreness. I'm looking forward to working out with Bob again tomorrow night, though. Pushups, sumo squats, regular squats, woo hoo!

I may try the cardio workout this weekend, too, in addition to the treadmill. I previewed a little of it last night, but I think I need to actually do it to see how I think.

So last night I did the Push workout again. Got a HORRIBLE cramp in my calf midway through; had to stop the DVD for a few seconds to focus on breathing and massaging it out. Makes me wonder if I DO need those bananas I've been craving. It was weird, because I wasn't even working my legs at the time.

Anyway, did the whole workout (and found the pushups easier this time, so yay for that). I was surprised at how quickly the 30 minutes went this time. Then I decided to follow up with the bonus abs workout, which was a mistake. Apparently the company and I disagree on the purpose. I thought when I picked an area I'd like to concentrate on, I should pick something where I'm weaker and need more work. They seem to think it's something that's so strong, the regular workout isn't enough. Because I couldn't do any of it. She started out with full sit-ups, with no modifications offered, and went on from there. So I won't be bothering with that one again.

Still enjoyed the regular workout, though. I'm going to do the butt one again tonight, I think. Or this weekend.

I did the counter push-ups again today. I did 10 in sets of 5. At 5, I have to stop. So I think I will try another set of 5 today. I have done 60 crunches on my ab board! :)

That's awesome, Biki. I'm still doing my PUSH workout. I did the workout with Bob plus the butt one on Saturday, so I'll do them again tonight (or tomorrow; I may have to pick up some stuff for a photo shoot - of food, to go with a story - tonight).

Also jogged intervals today for the first time in a while. And then decided to sprint a bit at the end. Went up to 8 mph, but just for a few seconds, to keep my heart rate from going too wild.

Still hovering between 129 and 130, too. Had a banana at work the other day, which trigged another small binge that night. So I think I'm through with bananas, even outside the house, for now. They're like a gateway drug or something to me. Geez.

I haven't gone jogging in a while. I need to. It is just that Paul likes to go at 5am which is okay if I have had my coffee and water but he just gets up, puts on his shoes, takes water with him and off he goes! Maybe I can get him to go with a little later tomorrow. He had two meetings even though this was his day off so he had to go early. I had a banana today and am going to see if I can keep it at ONE since groceries were delivered today and we have qute a few.

They're evil!! Evil, I tell you!

I haven't been doing much jogging lately, because I want to see if keeping my heart rate in target range works better for me. I'm not sure yet if it's making a difference. I haven't suddenly started losing more quickly, but I don't fluctuate as much (and I'm fluctuating lower, which is good).

And at least even my banana-induced binges aren't HORRIBLE. I call them binges because they're more than I would normally eat (and not always things I'd normally eat). But it's been along the lines of a couple of pieces of reduced-calorie, high-fiber toast (OK, one day I went back and had two more, but even so) with a small amount of peanut butter and a sprinkle of chocolate chips (don't laugh; it's good!). So at least it's not pizza or a box of cookies or a whole bag of chocolate chips or whatever. Or peanut butter straight from the jar. But still.

And BTW, yay for the Girl Scouts coming out with 100-calories packs of reduced-fat cookies. First time I've been able to buy from the little girls outside Kroger in years.

That actually sounds really tasty!

It was VERY good. And not horrible nutritionally. Just more than I had planned to eat. Or needed to eat. But as binges go, it could have been a LOT worse.

After my countertop pushups yesterday, just 15, and 10 today, I notice very sore triceps, which is great because they are hard to isolate, and whatever the muscle is called on the top of my shoulder, like on the very top of my back, in back.
