I just realized I'm on the last hole of the belt, too. Geez.

And I ordered a book but it hasn't come yet. I think Amazon said it would be here tomorrow. I got a book written by the psychologist on "Celebrity Fit Club" that seemed to be almost exactly what I'm looking for. I read some stuff online about body dysmorphia (I actually read that stuff before I made my post), but I don't think that's really my problem. It's not so much that I think I'm horrific or monstrous or anything else; I think my brain is just taking awhile to catch up to the rest of me. (That, and I think I really AM overfat, even though I'm not really overweight anymore. I'm going to check out the new gym on Saturday and see what kind of rates they offer. And today I got my Slim in 6 DVD set; my Tae Bo Cardio and Tae Bo Cardio Circuit should be here any day now. Ideally, I'd like to continue with those at home for my cardio, and lift weights at the gym twice a week. And I'd LOVE to have a session or two with a personal trainer. Maybe if I mention it enough in Denver, some wonderful family member will decide to make it a birthday gift.)

Time to buy a new belt!

I had a dream that I was addicted to working out... It was only a dream though  I have been walking on my treadmill a little more each day and I no longer get tired when I walk to the mailbox!

When is your Birthday!

Labor Day weekend. If my sudden rapid (for me) weight loss keeps up, I might actually make it by then!!

And believe me, the exercise addiction is very bizarre to me. But I think it's been THREE weeks now, and supposedly that's all it takes to become a habit. We'll see. I've taken to watching "Workout" on Bravo, mostly just to see what exercises they have people do. Picked up a couple of pointers the other night, which was kind of cool. And I'm DYING for my "Body for Life" books to come. I got the workout one and the food one, but not the version written for women because it got some pretty bad reviews (it's not written by the same person).

DogMa ~ You are doing great!!! I love it that your tiny person is just your size. Hopefully that will set you on the road to acceptance. I am watching your weight very closely and am hoping for you to hit the 120's soon. BTW, I am watching the new workout show on bravo, as well, and I really like it. I'm hoping that I will gain some information on what types of lives these people live, what they eat, and how they exercise. So far, I'm hooked.

ROCKIN' ROBIN, with her tucked in shirt and belt. You go girlie!
Isn't it funny that you can see how tiny your coworker is, but can't see it in yourself? Isn't the brain a fascinating organism?
I love that you realize that you must be smaller than you think you are, and applaud you for your proactive cognitive therapy.

YOU are my idol.

130.8. Sigh. Only thing I can figure is either the heat or that I had some precooked meat on my salad the past two nights that probably had a lot more sodium than my usual chicken breast. Tonight I'm back to my regular chicken, so maybe tomorrow I'll be in the 120s.

Exercise: I'm going to try the first Slim in 6 workout.

And re: the show, I really liked the woman whose doctor advised gastric bypass. But I got the most information from the workout with the rich woman in Palm Spring who was working on her arms. (And I'm sorry, but are those trainers 6 years old? The boss leaves, so they have a party at her house and break stuff? And start goofing off at work the minute she's gone? Ridiculous.)

We're talking about Work Out on Bravo.

Robin, I know what you mean. Was that house thing totally staged??? Mimi is really starting to get on my nerves. The biting and jealousy is a little much. If I were Jackie, I would tell Mimi to "pat the bricks"!!!

LOL. Yep, I look exactly like that. Thanks, Ark, now I don't have to post in the studio. Hee.

Sarya, it's on Bravo. She owns a gym in Beverly Hills and is a personal trainer. Openly gay and very hot (lots of eye candy for EVERYone, with all the really buff trainers they show). I'm surprised Alex doesn't watch it (or maybe she does). But yeah, the girlfriend has issues, and so does Jackie for staying with her and even THINKING of having a kid with her.

I like the show, though. She's not nearly as annoying and full of herself as Jonathan from Blow Out (the guy with the Beverly Hills salon). And watching it makes me want to get off my flabby butt and exercise (but not so hard that I throw up, like poor bypass girl).

ok, ok... yeah, alex watches it.

jackie warner is hot. but she's hot because of her amazing confidence more than anything else. for the record, mimi is also hot, and crazy... and oddly similar to my ex. it makes for a traumatic, issue-filled viewing, let me tell ya.
