I used it for about 7 days and have never had a problem since. So I would just try it and see. I am sure in different systems it takes different times and gives slightly different results.

The package says it's a new product so that's probably why.

Hey, Robin -

Ahh, defined abs, that rocks. I, unfortunately, have excess skin covering what could be some good abs, but who can tell? That's so cool, you are becoming a buff broad!

Catch ya later!

Maybe by my two-year maintenance anniversary I'll be ready to show 'em. (And maybe by then I'll have visited the sandbox. Heh.)

BTW, I just realized what day it is. It'll be my one-year maintenance anniversary in exactly two weeks. Yay, me!

That's great Robin! 1 year maintenance anniversary is a big deal. I'm pretty content losing this weight but scared of transition and maintenance. I will certainly have to refer to your journal when the time comes, you have done everything right.

That IS very cool, Robin. I can't wait till I hit the one year mark, it feels like you've really accomplished something amazing, and we both can say that this maintenance thing is no easy process, so I completely appreciate the significance of the anniversary!

Cheers!

Well, Fiddle-dee-dee! My one year maintenance anniversary is happening just a couple weeks after yours. ROBIN!
And 'member you started way before me!

I still think we need a special designation for one year maintenance people on our avatar!

It's definitely been a learning experience. Far more than when I lost weight on Atkins a billion years ago, when all I did was continue avoiding carbs. And even though I still haven't lost those extra few pounds I wanted to (and still want to), I've definitely seen some positive changes in my body and fitness level. So I'm happy with that.

And I'll be VERY happy to go to the bat mitzvah this month, a year later, and be looking even BETTER than the last time. When I'm sure plenty of folks who saw me a year ago thought I'd gain it back. Plus I get to see people I haven't seen since I was at my largest, and tell them not only did I lose the weight, but I did it over a year ago. Woo hoo! (And surely by THEN I'll have dealt with this sandbox thing and my tummy will be a bit flatter than it is today. Since it's more than three weeks away.)

Oh, and slight adjustment to today's plan. I got busy at work and missed the afternoon workout. Argh. I'll try to at least take a little walk or something tonight on the treadmill.

I think Ivana Trump said "Looking good is the best revenge." Or maybe she said living well. Either way you'll wow them!!! :)

I'm taking a big step, too. I just posted over in the Weight Loss section, but in case any DFW types are reading over here, I'm giving away all my Medifast products (since I haven't touched them in months). Anyone who can drive over is welcome to all of it (except my shaker jars, which I use for measuring and stuff all the time). But the RTDs, the pudding, the oatmeal, it's all up for grabs.

It's time to reclaim my kitchen cabinets!

I'll come get them! Guess I better go over and see what you have left.

Too late, oh well.

I know it's a bit early to wish you happy anniversary but in case I forget... I get pretty bad brain fog. :-P

I agree with Lizabette, there should be some designation of how long you've maintained. Maybe right under the 'maintaining' part of the graphic Biki or somebody can photoshop in a '1 yr' logo or something!

If I've learned anything from watching people go away and come back around here, it's that maintaining must not be easy at all. I am grateful, as many others have said, that you are here, and Jo and Lauren and Lizabette, to show us what needs to be done. There was a time when I thought I'd lose my weight and just disappear from this board - but I think I will need the accountability as well. And how could I go on without everybody here, anyway?

Just goes to show you that maintenance is different for everyone. I couldn't live without my oatmeal, bars, and pudding.....not because I need them so much, but because I like that they are a low calorie/carb snack that tastes great. When my sweet tooth tries to take over, they keep it in check.

I know I will keep ordering the cappuccinos and oatmeals. The capps just have so much creamy flavor and are loaded with Medifast nutrition!~
