Ummm, sure, Hol, soon as I GET one (a sculpted body, that is). Right now I think I must have been sculpted by a 5-year-old in ceramics class.

No, seriously. I still have plenty of odd lumps and bumps and hanging bits that aren't supposed to hang. Besides, there will be some pics after the bat mitzvah in August. A few weeks after my one-year anniversary.

Regardless of any lumps or bumps, you're still my workout role model :)

Thank you. I really HAVE grown to like the workouts. I think next week I'm going to start back on the couch to 5K program. Since it's only three days a week, I can alternate it with the incline stuff and see how that goes.

132.0 today. I don't know why it's been up from there, but I'm glad it dropped back down. I'm hoping to drop even further now, of course (but today is a gym today, so probably not tomorrow). I'm at about 1450 calories for the day. I figure I'll stay here for a bit and see how it goes, and then maybe try 1500.

It's kinda hard to eat this much, though!

Almost forgot. My whole BodyBugg dilemma seems to have worked out. Something's going on with the seller (I never received it and haven't gotten any response to my e-mails, and after months of solid feedback, the woman now has several complaints), so I'm pursuing it through PayPal and American Express and should be getting my account credited pretty soon (in the meantime, I disputed the charge with Amex, so I shouldn't have to pay it).

Ugh! Sorry to hear you had troubles with ebay but glad that you won't have buyer's remorse anymore. I'm still waiting for a resolution to my claim I filed with paypal after not receiving a dress I won on ebay. Today is the last day the seller has to respond to the claim so we will see what happens.

It was weird. When I went on PayPal to start the process, the first thing you do is initiate communication with the seller (I'd already e-mailed twice). I filled out the form and immediately got a message from PayPal saying the seller is unable to respond at this time and asking if I want to drop it or escalate to a claim. So I kinda wonder if something's wrong with the person (like, sick or dead? I don't know). Her feedback was all great, and then all of a sudden in the past few days it's been negative.

The Couch to 5K should be fairly easy for you since you are so darn physically fit these days! I made it thru my 3rd day earlier today, so I'm feeling kinda proud of myself. Between you and Queenie I am inspired to stick with it and one of these days actually find myself to be a fit person. 2 days a week I have added in "Precision Body Sculpting" by 6 Week Body Makeover.

Earlier you said you still had "plenty of odd lumps and bumps and hanging bits that aren't supposed to hang." I'm really concerned about my upper arms, they are still waving after the hand has stopped! Did you have arm issues and did exercise correct it?

Glad you got your cable back!

I still have a bit of hang there, but it's much better than it was. The weightlifting seems to help, so that at least the parts that don't hang are getting more defined.

And I dunno, on the running. I'm going to try again, because I DID like it. But I burn calories a lot faster going uphill (because I don't run very FAST, I think) and I worry about my knees. I'm no spring chicken, ya know. But I'll try. If you guys can do it, I guess I can at least give it a shot.

I'm hoping I can skip at least the first week of the program, since I'm pretty sure I can jog longer than that already. Or at least, I could before I stopped jogging and started doing the uphill thing.

Ooh, I almost forgot my NSV from this morning. Last night I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and studying one girl's abs to see what they're SUPPOSED to look like. And I noticed one of the big things is the kind of vertical indentation straight down the middle. So I looked today, and I have that!!! Not all the way down, but part of the way, till you get to the lower abs. So yay! I don't think it was there before.

OK, everybody cross your fingers. I was at the gym tonight and one of the trainers came over and basically was cheering me on, telling me he could see how hard I was working and I was doing a great job. So we talked a little and he's new. And there apparently all weekend, from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m. (he said he just loves fitness so he likes to just hang out at the gym all the time). Long story not quite so long, we have an appointment tomorrow morning and I, hopefully, have a new trainer. Raymond. And at my usual gym, so I don't have to drive to the one in Grand Prairie. Yay.

Oh, and today I did the afternoon workout even though no one else showed up!! So all by myself in the creepy basement, and feeling a wee bit silly and hoping no maintenance guys came wandering by, I did Tae Bo Abs.

Crossing my fingers! You are so hard core. I've become lazy recently. I'm blaming it on having to pack and move on Monday. Hope the appointment goes well tomorrow :)

That is very cool about Raymond. Sounds like a nice guy, hope he turns out to be the right trainer for you. Good luck!
