So who has the dirtier mind - the one who writes it, or the one who thinks she knows exactly what she meant by it? ;)

We are equally culpable.

The thought crossed my mind, too. But please. They're pictures of ME. And not even good ones.

Well. They scared me for nothing. I actually LOVED this guy. He pushed me, but just enough, and seemed very good at judging when I was whining and when I was really at my limit. He used different machines than I had done before, and he was very encouraging every step of the way. And he had me do weighted lunges, and I DID them (which really says more about my progress on my own than anything about him, but still). Loved, loved, LOVED him. YAY!!

Well, certainly not my best EATING day. Yikes. Things started off fine, with my treadmill workout, then breakfast, then the trainer at the gym. Then I got home with just enough time to get ready (and no time to eat, but I figured I'd only be a little late for food by the time we had lunch).

So my friend Greg got here, met Mojo, and we headed out to Dallas. We were almost at the restaurant when he realized he had forgotten his assignment, which was to make sure I had the tickets when we left the house. And yes, you guessed it ... I didn't.

So back we went to Arlington (bear in mind this is about 40 minutes each way). We got the tickets and headed BACK to Dallas, but by then there wasn't enough time for a decent lunch, so we looked around for pretty much any sort of fast food. The only thing we could find was McDonald's. And yes, I could have had a salad but by then I was starving (I wonder why, after burning at least 600 calories that morning and eating a whopping 250 or so for breakfast a good six hours earlier). So yes, I had my first McDonald's meal in over two years. I'm not going to beat myself up over it, and actually, I really enjoyed it (although I don't plan on having one again anytime soon).

It also left me really full, so it was another five hours or so before I could think about eating again. But at least then I had something more reasonable (a big helping of green beans, two low-carb tortillas and some chicken breast).

Anyway, back to plan tomorrow. I'm going to be out quite a bit, since I want to go to the closest Nike Factory Store to stock up on some Shox in case Mojo chews up any more pairs (and that's a good 30 minutes or more away), plus i have a billion errands. But I'm going to make sure I stop somewhere for a salad, and probably bring along something to eat, too, just in case.

Errr, I like McDonald's fries better (I know). I was hoping at least for a Subway or something, where I could have gotten something at least resembling a Tom Venuto-approved meal. But neither of us knew the area, and that was the closest quick place my GPS unit could find. Oh, well.

I'm up half a pound today, which I figure is probably pretty good, considering the food AND the gym workout yesterday. I'm going to eat nice and clean today, and hope I drop back down quickly. And start seeing better results.

Oh, and did my treadmill workout this morning. I may test out that workout tape later on if I have time and can get Mojo to leave me alone for a bit. She goes crazy when I try to work out and starts play-attacking me.

I like this phrase. It's very descriptive and visual to me. I can picture fresh clean fruits and vegetables as opposed to heavy, greasy, fried foods. I think when I am in maintenance I will make that my catchphrase to keep my food on track - eat clean. Thanks for the motivation!

I can't take credit for it. Bodybuilders (and others) use it all the time.

Anyway, 135.2 today after not quite such a clean day yesterday. I was back on track last night, though, and have everything well planned for day.

Did the treadmill this morning, and will do a tape this afternoon with the gang.

Good for you for getting right back on track with that exercise. I put in another call to the SD. A side effect of my depression has been no energy to exercise. I am exhausted. All I am getting in is a mile a day. It's only been 2 days but I feel like a loser. Any words of motivation besides something that sounds like a Nike commercial?

Ha. Yeah, that'd be about it. Is there someplace special you can walk to, so there's a bigger reward at the end?

Hey, and congrats on the loss!! I'm having a pretty good day, too. Weight's not fabulous, BUT I'm apparently shrinking around the middle, because I tucked my shirt in today. First time in almost a year, I think. I didn't even have to untuck a bit to cover any stray bulges. And I can stand to look at myself without sucking in my stomach. Yay!

Wow. I have a special camisole that just holds in the area under your bra to over your belly button so with snug pants you can't see a bulge or rolls. So good for you! I hope to get there soon. I hope my goal weight will do it, but I am thinking I will have to lower it I have so much of a beer belly. I need aerobic exercise I know, but I think I need a lower goal.

I need SOMEthing. But maybe this means all this work is finally paying off.

And I just heard my teammate at work is going to be out another two weeks or more. Lovely.
