Glad it could help, Tawanda. I live alone, so I talk to myself a LOT (although I usually talk to the dogs, so it seems slightly less crazy).

Had a bit of a bounce today, which was expected after last night's meal. 134.8, but I'm confident it'll go down again today. I also was up half the night with the dogs because of an overnight thunderstorm. Even I was nervous a few times; we had some VERY close lightning, and for a while the strikes came so close together that I couldn't count between the lightning and thunder because it all ran together. Everything looks OK today, though, and I still got up and did my workout.

I hadn't had enough coffee when I went to Mass this morning so my mind kept wandering. Then I though "I wonder how Robin's love life is doing?" So fill us in on this divinely inspired question.

ROBIN,
I thought of you this morning when I heard little yorkie Meggie outside barking up a storm.
Looking out I saw she was wildly circling a big tree in the back yard with a tail wagging squirrel taunting her from above.
Of course, ho hum, all it had to do was jump from one tree branch to another.
That was Megs exciting adventure to start the day...
Hope you have one, too.

Mine were up half the night with the thunder, but still had plenty of energy to chase the squirrels this morning - unlike their mom.

And Biki, I'd report something if I had anything to report. Dallas Guy stopped talking to me when I said I wanted to meet during the day and didn't feel comfortable meeting a complete stranger at night. Good riddance, as far as I'm concerned.

Any time. I just wish I had more to report. Although I've been keeping pretty busy withOUT any dating. Next weekend I'm seeing Spamalot with a friend. Sunday's still open, but I'd kind of like to keep it that way, so I can get my errands done and catch my breath a little.

Now I'm debating whether to go to the gym tonight or Wednesday (tomorrow I need to make a stop on my way home, so that's out). Guess I'll decide this afternoon. I'd like to go and get it over with, but I may be dragging by then from the lack of sleep.

Hi Robin - Dallas guy doesn't seem worth the trouble.

My dog started barking at 3am this morning - and were were not having thunderstorms - I kept hearing sounds but I think they were coming from outside - I was not about to go downstairs and look - I was too chicken. My hubby works nights - so I am there with my kids alone. The dog stopped barking and came up by me so I know nobody was in the house - but still - I didn't fall back to sleep after 4:30 am. Enough with losing so much sleep....several days ago it was our fire alarms that kept going off - now the dog. Maybe I should go to a hotel for the night to catch up on my sleep...LOL!!

Oh, geez, my dogs hardly ever bark at night. So the one or two times that they have, I was petrified and never could get all the way back to sleep. Ugh.

And Biki, I tried it back when I was first changing to the day shift. It was horrible, though. I was knocked out all night, but woke up feeling more tired than I would have if I hadn't slept.

Normally, I'm fine, though. It's just harder to sleep with two dogs cowering against you all night. Most nights, they stay on their dog beds on either side of my bed. It's just that I went to bed around 10:30, and the storm started an hour later and went on for a long time. And a couple of times it was so loud even I was shaking a little. I was sure that it had hit at least a tree or something in my yard. Ugh.

We are supposed to be hit with storms tonight - but my dog doesn't care about storms..she sleeps through them. She doesn't typically bark at night either unless my daughter comes in late. So I wonder what was out there...that's okay I don't need to know...LOL!!

It never came close to working on me. The doctor said it wasn't strong enough to combat my bipolar disorder. Now that my mania is in control, I should try it again. The stuff I am taking now is an antipsychotic which can have long lasting side effects in some people, especially in high doses. I am taking the highest recommended dose.

Yikes. Might be worth trying again, then. The instructions said to take it while you're already in bed because it works so quickly, and it did. I was out within maybe five or 10 minutes. But I felt so groggy the next morning that I was afraid to use the treadmill (operating heavy machinery). I think I took it for two nights, and then gave up.

wow, 5-10 minutes sounds too quick for me. My stuff works but it kind of eases you into sleep, but if you wake up too early (earlier than 4:30  ) you have a slight hangover.

It was really fast. And I slept straight through, pretty much exactly eight hours. Woke up incredibly groggy, though. No more for me.

Robin-

Are you safe and dry amidst the storms today? Weather/news reports look bad for your area. Just thinking about you!
