130.4, and again with the sandbox issue. Probably all the sugar last night.

Back to normal today, though. Today's my no-workout day (which I kinda hate at this point, but I did have some work I needed to get done this morning, so it works out - even if I don't. Ha.)

Food:
Egg Beaters/spinach/feta/tortilla
Pistachios/string cheese
Spinach-feta pie
Chicken breast/asparagus
BFL bar
Pudding

Wow, didn't realize we were so similar! Both in DFW (I'm in Arlington), both 5'2" (or so I thought till my doc measured me a couple of weeks ago and I found out I'm half an inch shorter than I used to be), both started at about the same weight. Cool!

Stick to the program, and you'll be here, too - and probably a lot faster than I was! Feel free to PM or e-mail any time, neighbor!

128.8. Did treadmill, at 3.5/4.0/4.5/5.0/5.0 (2 incline for most, then 3 for th elast one; didn't quite make it, though, and had to cut back a little the last 20 seconds of my 10 effort).

Food about the same, except I'm out of spinach pie for the moment. So:

Egg Beaters/spinach/feta/tortilla
Soy tortilla chips/low-fat Cheddar/salsa
Glenny's soy crisps
Chicken breast/asparagus
BFL bar
Pudding

Wow!

Wow, Robin, you really took off there on the treadmill. That's excellent. I've been a lazy bum, so nothing to report on the exercise front ;-)

Yeah, I was a little bummed that I couldn't last the whole time, but I figure at least I know it was definitely a level-10 effort. I thought my lungs were going to burst!!

And I wouldn't worry about the exercise right now, till you've got the whole six-meals-a-day thing down. When you're only getting four or five, you're not getting anywhere NEAR enough calories to sustain a workout.

Whew. Couldn't log on yesterday.

128.4. Did upper-body workout at the gym yesterday, treadmill today (plus some firewood-hauling).

Also got a bunch of sweaters - finally. Went to Kohl's, which turned out to be having a big sale plus offering an extra 15% off everything for seniors. I was chatting with the cashier and explained why I needed so many sweaters all at once, and the lady behind me in line chimed in. First, they said they hoped I wasn't losing any more weight, because I look like I'm a size 0 (!!), and THEN the cashier gave me the extra 15% off just to be nice. Yay! So I got 10 very nice sweaters, including a cashmere one to replace all the cashmere I had to get rid of, plus a new very, very soft microfleece robe and a shirt and tank combo. I probably should have gotten all smalls, but some are mediums because I wanted enough room to layer stuff underneath. Plus my cupcakes are still far from small so the girls need a little room to breathe.

Then at the gym, I actually faced the mirrors part of the time, instead of facing the other way. And darn if I didn't actually look pretty tiny in the mirror. So I'm definitely gaining muscle and losing fat, and I'm almost to the point where I REALLY don't care what the scale says anymore. Almost.

All in all, it was a good day.

128.2 with continuing sandbox issues. I'm actually going to skip my workout this morning. I've been feeling kinda puny and tired lately. So I'm thinking of increasing my calories a bit more to see if it helps.

Yesterday I noticed that my arms don't really jiggle all that much anymore. Yay.

For heaven's sake. Now I can't post here because it says it's too soon after my last post. I'm guessing that's because my last post is time-stamped almost seven hours in the future. So here's what I wanted to say:

OK, maybe I figured it out. I looked back, and my calories have been the same for about a week. But then I realized I just increased my workout a few days ago, which would explain why my calories suddenly seem too low. So today I left 'em about the same since I didn't work out, but tomorrow I'll be increasing them a little more.

Plus it got colder a few days ago, so maybe I need more because of that, too. I'm still freezing most of the time.

Meanwhile, those J. Jill jeans I bought at the end of August, which I had to squeeze myself into? Fit perfectly fine now, except that the rise is a bit short (odd, considering my lack of height). But otherwise they're pretty comfy now. Yay.

129.0. Kinda high, but I had another high-sodium day yesterday. Today seems to be coming out that way, too, so I'll need to make sure to cut back on the salt tomorrow.

Almost forgot. I was thinking about doing my workout at home today, but I decided to go to the gym. Especially since I bailed on the treadmill yesterday. I wonder if the extra salt's partly responsible for my puny feelings the past couple of days, too. I have a little extra today, too, but tomorrow I'll be down again.

Too much low-fat cheese, plus the canned green beans I had two days in a row. Plus even too much Medifast. I have less salt if I prepare stuff myself.

128.8 after yet another high-salt day. I think my sodium intake is lower today, if I remember my FitDay numbers correctly.

Still feeling out of sorts in the morning, but I'm going to make myself get on the treadmill and at least walk. I don't know what's up with this, but I'm getting irritated at myself.

I was worried it was the heater (you know the smell you get when you first turn it on for the season?), but the heat's not on this morning. Actually, at first I thought maybe it was a small gas leak from the heater. Except duh - the heat's electric out here.

ETA: Just remembered. I finally remembered to get some multivitamins yesterday, because I also thought that might be the problem, now that I'm on my own and all my nutritional needs aren't being met courtesy of Medifast. So I took one this morning, and maybe that will help.

I did work out, though, so yay, me. Just not as much running as I've been doing; I scaled back to my workouts from a week or so ago. No running till level 9.

I'm also determined to NOT have a free day today, and to wait for Wednesday. My plan is to have one Wednesday (fried chicken, I think), then next Sunday (if I make it to the Greek festival plus I'm going to a concert that night), then probably nothing till Thanksgiving because I know I won't be as good while I'm with my brother that weekend. I figure if I don't have any free days the week before, and I don't have any for at least a week after, I should be OK. Depending on how I do when I'm gone, I may even do a week of Medifast or something when I get back, if I really go off track while I'm gone. I'm going to try not to do that, though.

That's great, Robin! I remember from my BFL days how treasured those free days become!
You're doing so well, an inspiration for how to transition to maintenance!

Thanks, Kendra. I don't feel like it lately. My averaged weight for last week was UP 0.1. Which I know is nothing and probably caused by salt, but still. I'll be REALLY upset if it turns out to be a calorie issue.

Anyway, 128.8 today. I'm not happy about it, but I also got very little sleep because we had thunder most of the night (which for me means two quaking, terrified dogs). So of course today I'm exhausted and sore and generally just miserable. It's my usual day of rest from workouts, so even though I also rested Friday, I'm taking it.

Still at 128.8. Today I have less sodium in my food plan, so maybe that will help. On the other hand, Tanita says my body fat is still dropping, and mybodycomp dot com says my measurements and body fat have dropped and my hip-to-waist ratio has improved. So I know the number on the scale shouldn't matter. I think I've just gotten a bit addicted to watching the numbers drop, even if they dropped slowly.

We'll see. I'll give it a few more days (with less sodium), and if there's no change, I may drop my calories back to 1000 for a little while, just to get the number to change. Although I admit, I'm feeling a LOT better today than I have been. No puniness today.

Oh, and did the treadmill. Messed up with my times, though, so I only went to a 9 instead of a 10. But ran 8 minutes of my time.
