Ha. I will. I hope I can find a decent one at the store this weekend. Talk about missing California!!!

And I was a little surprised, too. I know he supports low-carb plans, though. I don't think I can go that high on fat, at least not for now. I'm going to try to keep it to around 30% or less for a while and see what happens. Emphasizing plant fats. So this week I'm adding hummus. They had samples at Costco yesterday, and it was SO good. So I'm going to have a little hummus (the one with pine nuts in it, because i was just reading about how good pine nuts are for you) with some soy tortilla chips for lunch.

They're low-carb and low-fat. They're SOY tortilla chips.

You'll get there. It certainly took me long enough!!

I'm a soy-crisp addict at this point. I have five kinds of soy crisps in my cabinet these days. In about 15 different flavors. This is why I need to get rid of some of my Medifast foods. Gotta make room for the soy chips.

And sorry, for those who can't have it yet ... but the hummus was AMAZING. And just that little bit of fat made me so much more full than I normally feel. I just had a little single-serving bag of the chips and 1.5 ounces of hummus, and I almost had trouble eating it all.

Very odd. I'll be interested to see how this little experiment goes.

BTW, I went through all my sweaters yesterday because it was going to be cooler today, finally.

So I'm down to three sweaters (two fit, one is big but I like it too much to part with it just yet) and two or three fleece tops. Sigh. Everything else is going outside next week for an ARC pickup.

I think next week I'm going to go check out this big Dillard's clearance center I've heard about. I so didn't want to spend more money, but I don't see how I can get through the winter with so little to wear. Sigh. The good news is even if I lose a few more pounds, I should still be able to fit in the same size tops, even if they're a little loose.

Yeah, I just got rid of the rest of my beloved sweaters that I couldn't bear to part with this spring. It's funny, because I really thought I could wear them.....just baggy.....no way, though. My shoulders don't hold them up, lol. I started out this fall with -0- sweaters. Now, I have 3 and it snowed today! yikes!!!

I still have several huge T-shirts that I need to just pitch. Trouble with that is that many of them hold memories of vacations, etc. ~sigh~ Oh well.....I'll just have to go on more vacations and buy some teeny T-shirts.

WOW! Bet that felt great though....to try on clothes and be swimming in them :) I had been experiencing the opposite, staring into a closet of my favorite clothes that I couldn't wear anymore and feeling worthless....now I go into that closet a few times a week (upstairs over garage) and say I"LL SEE YOU ALL IN DECEMBER! Has actually helped me to go there when I am tempted. Have so much fun shopping and remember belts are really in this year over sweaters, shirts, jackets....so even if you do outgrow them a bit, you'll still be stylin! 8)

Oooh, a belt is another thing I desperately need while I'm still kinda between jean sizes. I had a Kenneth Cole belt that I found in my closet, but I could almost wrap it around me twice. Sigh.

And I had the same thought with the sweaters, Jo! I thought they'd just be oversized, or I'd put a shirt under 'em or something. But they sag so much I just couldn't do it. The sleeves!! I could have fit three arms in one sleeve. If I had three arms, that is. :)

And of course work is FREEZING tonight. So I'd better get some more sweaters to wear pretty soon!

Hee. Nah, I think the belt was probably kinda big when I bought it. And I don't even remember when that was.

Anyway, today. 129.8, good two days after a free day. Exercise was treadmill.

Food:
Egg Beaters, spinach, feta, low-carb tortillas
Soy crisps
Q-Smart bar
Chicken and green beans
Soy chips and hummus
Pudding

Not necessarily in that order, though.

Hey, DeDe!! I'm so glad to see you around here again!! And lazy? I can't imagine doing all the traveling you do? I had a job like that - and lasted less than six months before I quit.

Yep, dede, this journal wears me out, too! I wonder if reading Robin's journal could be considered exercise.......cardio?

130.2 and a bit of a sandbox issue, as usual (although that was this morning; it's, uh, been resolved).

Today's gym day, lower body. Don't feel like it, but I'm going anyway. After I go sweater shopping.

In other news, last night the Tanita reading was the lowest it's ever been. I'll have to see if it stays that low or if it was a one-time thing, but I was happy to see it.
