I've always wondered who watches those shows - like 'worst highway accidents ever!' That's not a real one that I know of, at least not yet, but I'm sure some exec will think of it.
Cynical much, Robin? With the juice bar/nail salon comment.
I agree that it's impossible she did that much work and lost nothing - although maybe I don't agree. I mean, I worked out 6 days a week for 3 months once but still ate whatever I wanted and didn't lose a single thing. I was only doing 45 minutes, though. I imagine it was a combination of poor food choices and just plain lying about the workouts.
It was sad to see Joelle at the end just walk away from Carla. My husband said he thought she was a stupid person trying to sound smart. I disagree. I think she just took no responsibility. She must have an elaborate fantasy built up where she is the princess and can do no wrong, but she certainly does not live in the real world. I think they would have kept her on, for Carla, if she'd just come out and said 'I screwed up, I didn't work at all, I know I can do better, please let me stay.' But that woman is incapable of saying she's wrong about anything. Selfish? Probably. Out of touch with reality? Definitely.
