OOOOOOOOOO I ADORE Vitatops, I think they're so nummy! Nice and moist and exactly like a cupcake... and for some reason, I really can stick to just one of those, what's up with that? I think I need to be working on my mindset... maybe cuz when I go off Medifast they'll be "allowed" and ice cream won't be???? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... must consider! :D

They are SAVING me right now. I have no trouble sticking to one, too, mostly because they're frozen and I only eat them before my workout in the morning. But they're soooooo good when you microwave 'em. And I swear, I haven't craved chocolate or sweets (or even pb) since I started having 'em each morning. Or most mornings. They're expensive, but worth every penny to me if they keep me on track.

It's funny, cause the first couple of days, I DID eat more than one. But I think once my body figured out that it was going to get that treat every day, I stopped wanting more.

Just finished my PUSH workout. Sweaty, but happy. I have a fan in here now, but I think tomorrow I'm bringing the air freshener.

My office is starting to be taken over by the gym stuff. Mat, fan, weights, bands, clothes, towel ...

Oh, and that looks EXACTLY like me, btw. But my hair's a little longer.

Seriously, right now I can't lift my arms and my hands are still trembling. Bob kicked my butt today.

But my lunges were fabu, and I held the side planks the whole time again (although when he said to SLOWLY lower down, I just sorta collapsed in a heap; that counts, right?).

1. Slowly
2. Lower
3. Down

Duuuuuuude.

You got 2 out of 3 right.
I vote for "it counts!"

You know I live vicariously through your workout routine,
right? Yeah, my back's been out since Saturday. Not too
bad this time, just enough to remind me that it can do what it
wants to whenever it wants to and don't take it for granted.
Just a friendly little reminder. Aaargh. My back is like a spoiled child.

Congrats on the lunges and planks!

For the record, I had no idea what a VitaTop was so I just checked it out...they look sensational! That healthy and tastey to boot? Where do you typically buy them and what is the cost like?

Supposedly Whole Foods carries 'em, but not the ones here. And Tom Thumb/Safeway, but the one near me (which is listed on the Web site) didn't have 'em. So I bought mine online. I think they came out to around a dollar each, with a free shipping deal and buying in bulk (but I had to make room in my freezer for them; they have no preservatives).

Worth it to me, though. They're SO good. They even have big, melty chocolate chips when you nuke 'em. A little higher in sugar than I'd like (although they make a sugar-free with sugar alcohols and only 80 calories instead of 100), but considering it's the only sugar I eat all day AND it's right before I do an hour of cardio, I figure it's OK. And they totally keep me from other sweets. Today was birthday-cake day at work, and I sat right next to the cake for half an hour and didn't even THINK about eating it.

If I want to be REALLY crazy ... I only did this once, and I had it as a full snack and needed the extra protein/fat, but I spread a spoonful of peanut butter on top. Oh. My. God.

Ha. I LOVE that they're legal for me, too.

And Sojo, I'm sorry, I missed that last message. I'm so sorry about your back! I've only thrown mine out once, a few years ago (bending down to pick up a shirt from the floor, of all things). Hopefully now that my core is so much stronger, my back is more protected. I'm getting better every time at the ab stuff. And considering a few months ago I couldn't do a single sit-up or even a decent crunch, I figure that's GOT to be a good thing.

Oh, the HORROR. My cable is out again, just like about a year ago, when I lost EVERYthing - no TV, no phone, no Internet. And of course Time Warner has terrible customer service, so I'm trying to sign up for U-verse again. But so far I was on hold for half an hour on my way to work (they said it'd be eight minutes) and now I've been on hold again for nine so far (they said it'd be ONE minute). But I can't sign up online, because they say I have an account already from the last time - like I know my login or password from then. And it won't give it to me. Sigh.

So I missed So You Think You Can Dance AND the semifinals of Top Chef. Neither of which is online, I think. I'm going to cry.

Eeeeek! I am feeling for you. I was annoyed enough just having slow/spotty internet at work today. I hate being cut off. Passionately.

I need to remind myself that the new SYTYCD season has started...I keep forgetting!

Sigh. I missed that and Top Chef (part 1 of the finale). If it's still off tonight, it's more Dance and Last Comic Standing. Sigh.

The good news is I can totally run a 12-minute mile. Which may not sound like much to some people, but I'm kind of amazed. Although I still want to do it in 10 minutes one day.

Scale moved today, but in the wrong direction. For no good reason, so I'm going to ignore it for now. No run this morning, though, because my foot was hurting. I'll do PUSH this afternoon, though.

PUSH is done for the week. YAY! I didn't even get quite as sweaty today, although that might be because I had the fan positioned to blow right at me during the stretches at the end. And today I only collapsed after one side plank. The other one (left arm), I slowly. Lowered. Down.
