I seem to be tired all of the time these days, too. I think it's all of the extra stress though...my brain never seems to shut off, even when I am sleeping and I have been dreaming/waking up a lot more at night than typical.

I swear it, though....if I ever hit 100lbs lost I am going to start PUSH. lol I know I know, not if but when....but hopefully it's soon!

You're getting awfully close!

I haven't been sleeping through the night for a while now - pretty much since I changed jobs. But I had even LESS sleep while I was away, so I'm sure that's part of it. Don't know about the muscle soreness, although maybe it's cause I haven't done PUSH since last week. Sigh. At least I hit the treadmill once while I was gone (which was all I'd planned) and did lots of walking the other days. But I was bad about food, bad about water, etc. Didn't even take my vitamins, which I'm sure didn't help. Or my omega 3's, which didn't help my MOOD. (The good thing is after three days of not-so-good eating, I came home just CRAVING produce. Veggies, fruits, anything I can find. The ice cream was great, but by the time I got home, I'd have killed for an apple. Last night I piled my plate at dinner with steamed carrots and broccoli - I normally don't like my veggies steamed.)

I definitely did not get my water in over the weekend so I wasn't suprised that the scale was unkind this morning...but it wasn't terrible so what can you do? I love it when I crave real food! It's a glorious feeling to want a bowl of fresh strawberries over my old obsession with Sun Chips and ice cream any day! Granted, no berries for me these days, but I'm glad that it is the berries that I want and not junk food.

Me, too. Although there are days when I want something less healthy, I admit. The ice cream was darn good, and I only got the small size. I just wish I'd only had it the ONE day. Or balanced it with better choices the rest of the time. My friend isn't very adventurous about food, so we were kind of limited. But I still could have made better choices at the places we DID go.

Food was back to normal as soon as I got home, though.

Walking day today, but I did the full hour even though I'm still struggling with fatigue a little. Also struggling a bit with mood and self-image (I'm guessing because I missed a few days of fish oil, plus I had to resort to something semi-prepared last night for dinner - so it was OK on calories and fat and carbs, but higher in sodium than I like). No PUSH last night, either. By the time I got home and fed the dogs and myself, it was 9 p.m., so too late to even think about a workout. No stops tonight on my way home, so I should be able to squeeze in at least half a workout, if not the whole thing.

I hear you on the struggling with self image thing. Granted, it is so much better than it used to be, but sometimes it is hard to keep it all in perspective...that is when we have to remember to bust out the old photos and remind ourselves how far we have come! :D

Yeah, mostly all I see is where I want to be. Some days, anyway. It's funny, because I was really down on myself today, and then I came to work and a friend commented right away on how nice I looked. All I see is flab today. Sigh.

But I did come to a conclusion. There is just no way I can squeeze in my PUSH workouts at night with any regularity. So ... my solution is to bring in my workout gear, DVD and yoga mat, and just do it HERE three days a week. I can close my office door, shove the visitors' chairs out of the way, and play the DVD on my computer. I'll get a little sweaty, but I don't care. I'll bring in some wipes or something. And air freshener. :)

I've been looking at the PUSH website, thinking seriously of ordering it! sounds like it might be a good idea for someone like me who gets bored easily...

I love that you can see clear progress each time the workout changes. And they always seem to be just the right difficulty level (although this latest one is kicking my butt more than usual, probably because I've been so sporadic about doing it).

I'm cranky. Sigh. Weight was up (sodium issue, I'm pretty sure). Started on the treadmill this morning but was having some wardrobe malfunctions and just gave up. But I brought my stuff to the office to do PUSH, and I'm about to do it.

Food's on target, so it had BETTER just be sodium. The scale and I are not friends lately. I'm hoping it's just that I've had a bad week, with everything thrown off by the trip to Austin. Food's been better, but exercise is still off. Which just makes ME feel off.

Sigh. I don't mean to be such a downer. I'm just in a foul mood this week. I need to get out and meet people. And hopefully it'll help that I'm going out with friends tomorrow - and not the friend I hang out with most of the time. I feel like I really need to get out and make some new friends.

Yay. Just finished my PUSH workout. It's a little odd doing it in my office, and I really need to bring in a little fan and some between-shower-type wipes, but otherwise it was great. I'm a little tired right now, but also energized. AND I did better than I normally do at home, probably because it's earlier and I'm not so tired. Although I still lost my balance on the side planks (but I got through all three kinds of push-ups).

To bring next week: wipes, fan, heavier-resistance band and probably the 10-pound dumbbells. Although I seemed to do OK with the 8-pounders for now.

Woohoo! I am so proud of you for rocking out PUSH at work...I just know me and I know I would never be dedicated enough to make that happen. And seriously, side planks can be a bear! :-P

I'm doing a little better toward the tail end of the week here, but I was definitely cranky earlier in the week, too. Hopefully the scale and I continue on with our renewed mutual affection into next week so I can avoid being a brat and just focus on more important things. I don't seem to be terribly sodium sensitive myself...but then, I don't typically use a lot of salt in cooking and I never add it to anything as I just never developed the taste growing up so that helps, too.

wow what dedication!!! I'm just trying to walk and haven't succeeded yet! Lol

But tonight we are going to the water park so that should be some good exercise!

Hopefully things will even out for you. I know I always feel so much better when I eat right- so then when I don't I continually ask myself- WHy are you doing this to your body when you know how it will make you feel?????

I'm highly impressed that you're doing your PUSH workout at work! I am too easily swayed by my coworkers "let's go to the gap outlet/old navy/ulta" or hey, why don't we all order salads from red robin. It's an office full of females and we have way too much fun together, unfortunately.

Good for you! Very impressive!
