Not to me. I hate Nutella!!! (You know they make a sugar-free version, though? Probably still not good for you, but just FYI.)

I'm not big on crunches. Bob has me do reverse crunches, roll-downs (kinda with sit-ups as part of 'em), planks, side planks and a couple other things. Plus of course the pushups and a few other moves also work the abs quite a bit.

I just stick to my stairs at work. I think it's around 115 up to my car at the end of the day, and maybe 50 up to my office at the beginning.

<------------loves Nutella

I don't understand why I can eat MF chocolate pudding with a tbl of peanut butter or PB2 and not crave more, but over Christmas had the choco/peanut butter combination seeping from my pores and I couldn't get enough.....I just don't get it.

Well, for ME, the answer would be that the pudding doesn't resemble REAL chocolate. But that's just me.

But yeah, a few weeks ago, I had this snack and went back and repeated it. And still wanted more. I still blame the bananas, though.

Thankfully, my taste buds taste a Reeses Cup when I eat my choco pudding/pb. It just doesn't turn into "I MUST HAVE MORE" zombie episodes.

Yeah, I wish mine were like that. But I manage with either chocolate-pb protein shakes or my little toast thing (as long as I keep it this way, with the low-cal, high-fiber bread, one tablespoon or so of pb and about a tablespoon of chocolate chips, I'm OK with it). OK, or once in a VERY long while, a real peanut butter cup. But those are very rare.

I just needed to prove (to myself) that I could have just that much and no more. And just last night, but not bother having it tonight (it's cold out, so I'm gonna go with diet hot chocolate for my nighttime treat).

Sigh. Still fluctuating up a bit, for no known reason (OK, except MAYBE a little extra sodium in dinner; not much, though). Hip's still bothering me, too. But I did my PUSH workout last night anyway, and this morning I added a little bit of running to my hour (just a bit, because I had to stop a few times to let the dogs in before their barking woke the neighbors). I ran faster, though, to make up for the shortness of the intervals.

And no PB, let alone chocolate chips, last night. Didn't even feel like it.

Glad you were able to do your PUSH exercise through yur hip pain...you're a REALLLLL trooper!

Thanks, Chy. I so didn't want to last night, but I wanted to make sure I got my three DVD workouts in for the week. I did fewer dolphins than the last time, though. I just couldn't. Sigh.

I used to have a real issue with peanut butter. But I think the more I've given myself permission to have it by working it into my normal daily calories/fat allotment, the easier it's become. I'd really like for NOTHING to be absolutely forbidden. Other than things like not keeping ice cream in the house, which isn't quite the same, because I'm not saying I can't have it when I'm out. Funny thing is, I HAVEN'T gotten ice cream when I'm out in probably a year, even though it's always been my favorite food. It's usually just not even on my radar anymore.

Hey Robin,

Just dropping in to say hello. I'm easing back into my Robinesque workout mode. Still deciding what I'll do on my non-jogging days. I don't want to go back to curves, but I need some sort of consistency and a plan. Decisions, decisions.

Hope you're well.

It has just as much sugar as ice cream, so it's really not an acceptable alternative for me.

I know the feeling. I finally sent my letter yesterday to officially quit my gym. I'm sticking with my treadmill and PUSH DVDs for now. At least I do them consistently. Although I still want to try the cardio workout that's on there on a day when I don't have enough time for the treadmill.

Thanks for reminding me! That's what I decided to do a couple weeks ago - use the workout dvds I already own. I'm always looking for a way to spend money instead so here I was looking for a gym to join when I just need to make use of the things I already own. Thanks :)

Have you guys tried the Only 8 Frozen Yogurt? They seel it here in the ice cream parlor, so I dont know how readliy available it is in your areas, but it is DELICIOUS! It has 8 calories per ounce, and it is naturally sweetened with frusctose. My Father in law could he it and he was diabetic. If you haven't heard of it, you should check itout. I think it would work on maintenance if youstay away from the chipa and nuts and m&m;s etc..for toppings!

It's 64 calories for a cup, which is OK (if I could eat only a cup AND not top it with anything, which is unlikely). I don't generally eat fructose, except in actual fruit. But from the Web site, it doesn't look like it's very widely available, in any case. I've never seen it here.

And honestly, since I'm not really missing ice cream, I'd just as soon not have anything that even resembles it. I have my sugar-free Fudgsicles in the freezer, but I haven't even had those in a couple of months. I'm really not looking for a subsitute at this point. (And as with most things, I'd rather have a small amount of the real thing these days than a larger amount of some kind of substitute.)

Thanks, though.
