Yes!!! A most excellent number on the scale.

I'm smiling for you, even if you are thirsty and hungry. ;)

Thanks, you guys. I even believe my number now, because today it's 129.0. I don't know if it's the slightly longer workouts or it's that I'm doing a LOT more walking instead of running (to stay in my target heart zone), but those are the only things that have changed. Yowza.

YES!!! 129.0# is a wonderful number!!!! I do have to admit to wishing that it was going to be seen again on my scale (I was 124# to 127# before I adopted my new hobby of 'over-eating massive amounts of food' years ago). Congratulations to you!

Well, I'm a bit shorter than you, I think, T. I figure my absolute low point would be 120, but I'll be perfectly happy if I ever reach 125 (or pretty darn happy even if I stay where I am).

Yay! My Push DVD came yesterday, so I tried the first workout last night.

I liked it so far, but I'm reserving judgment. Next time I'm telling them I don't have a stability ball, because I hate mine and I hate using it. I also haven't gotten the bands they're supposed to send, but maybe they send them separately. The first workout didn't call for 'em, anyway.

Liked:
1. That they had a little timer in the corner for each exercise, counting out how much time you had left to do it.
2. The exercises themselves. I found myself doing stuff I've never been able to do before, like side planks and REAL, non-girlie push-ups (I could do ONE before; I did at least 10 in a row this time).
3. Bob explained and demonstrated the exercises very clearly, so I was confident I was doing 'em right.
4. It was definitely challenging, but not so hard that I couldn't do it. I think I only bailed on one exercise, and I was just one rep short.
5. Bob himself, of course. He was much like he is on Biggest Loser, and he actually did make me laugh a couple of times even while I was straining to complete the exercise.

Didn't like:
1. There was no counter to show how much time was left in the total workout, just the exercise you're doing.
2. I'm not sore at ALL today (although sometimes it takes me two days to feel it, so maybe it'll come). Not that I want to be crippled, but I want to feel like I've worked my muscles.
3. The stability-ball stuff, but that's my own fault.

Your post wanted to make me see just how bad my boy-pushup was. A TOTAL disaster with a searing pain through my abs as I fell over because I've done 60 crunches this morning. Sniff.....Let me go over to the wall and do a few there. I can handle those.....

Biki, you might try doing them on a counter (I use the one in the bathroom). It's harder than the wall but easier than the floor ...

I was pretty proud, though. He said not to go too low, which helped a lot. I can't go all the way down and do that many. Yet.

OK, last night I did the bonus workout with the butt exercises. And between that and the one the day before, NOW I'm feeling it.

And of course I've been 130 point something the past two mornings, but I'm not stressing about it. I figure it's my normal fluctuation nonsense. Anyway, I'm a little pressed for time this morning AND feeling in need of a break, but rather than take the whole day off, I'm just going to do a shorter workout.

I'm not familiar with the PUSH videos but they sound brutal! I'm in awe of you!

It's a personalized system. I talked about it a little earlier. You fill out a questionnaire and they sent you a workout based on your responses. Based on their questions, I had a relatively high fitness level, so the routine is harder than their beginner stuff. It was definitely challenging. And in the bonus butt workout last night, there was one move I really struggled with (so I only did a couple). A "curtsy lunge."
