I've found very few yogurts that I can stand to eat, although right now I'm OK with a sugar-free (and fat-free) "coconut cream pie" flavored one. I can't stand frozen berries, though, except mixed up into my morning shake. I had fresh ones as much as I could during the summer while they were in season.
Right now I'm into apples (and umm, apparently bananas
). I wish I liked pears more, because my pear tree is full of 'em. I tasted one the other day because my neighbor asked about 'em, and it was actually good, even though it wouldn't soften at all. I'm just not a fan, except for the Royal Rivieras from Harry and David's. (But I'm all about the apples lately. Sometimes two a day, and I've even opted to have an apple instead of my Fudgsicles. Funny, because I've never liked 'em much before, unless I was using them to hold my peanut butter or dipping 'em in caramel sauce.)
Don't think I mentioned, I'm also walking more lately instead of running. It's easier on my broken toe, and I think it might even be helping my hamstring. And to top it off, I think my pulse may be too high when I run so that I'm not in the optimum fat-burning zone. So I'm going to try a three-day rotation of walking, running and walking/running intervals.
