Only 133.2 after last night's pigout, so that's good, at least. Got up and walked 45 minutes this morning (and yes, I got up at 4:45 to do this!). Off to the dentist, and I am going to do much better when I have dinner with my friend tonight. No matter what. I'm going to make sure I eat a couple of hours before so I'm not too hungry, and I'm going to ignore any pressure to eat things I shouldn't.

And I'm going to wear my skinny jeans so I'll be uncomfortable if I eat too much.

Forgot to note, that 133.2 was also at 4:45 a.m. or so, and I usually weigh more if I get on the scale that early.

I can't believe I was up so early. But I wasn't as late getting to work as I expected (dentist appointment), so I'm going to try to do the afternoon tape. Took the stairs again today, though, so that was good. I actually don't even feel so bloated today, so maybe I had less of the dessert than I thought.

Most definitely. When I wake up that early most times these days I go back to bed. Even if I don't sleep, I am 1 pound or 1.5 pounds lighter but only if I tinkle once or twice while I am waiting to get up permanently.

Me, too. Believe me, if I could have gone back to sleep, I would have. But nooooo, I decided if I got up even EARLIER than I had planned, I could walk that much longer on the treadmill. I scare myself sometimes.

Ugh. Just checking in for a sec. This is the first break I've had since I got here!! One bit of news: This morning I jogged for 25 consecutive minutes!! (And that was after getting only about two hours of sleep, too.)

That's about it, and I think I just heard my cousin coming back, so I need to get back to work. Sigh. But so far, so good. We've been eating out a ton, but I've been pretty good. Right now I'm low-carbing for a couple of days to "lean out" a little before the bat mitzvah. But I've worked out every morning that I've been here, even with next to no sleep. I'm taking Saturday off because I'll need to be at the synagogue pretty early, but I'm going to run on Sunday (because Monday is an early travel day, and I don't want to take off three days in a row).

Sorry I have no time to read everyone else's journals. I promise I'll catch up once I get back home next week. ... For now, it's back to the salt mines.

Just have a minute. So today I saw my cousins and aunt who I haven't seen for a couple of years (at the bar mitzvah, where my "before" pictures were taken). Not a single one of 'em mentioned that I'm 70 pounds lighter!!! Unbelievable.

That is unbelievable, Robin.....for family to just ignore your accomplishment. That's happened to me with acquaintences, but not family.

Are you serious? No one mentioned the weight loss? That really is unbelievable. If that happens to me when I go home, I'm gonna take all my clothes off and scream, "now do you notice?!?" Let's hope they say something before that happens. Hope you're enjoying yourself!
