133.8, with a whole lot of bloat after way more salt the past few days than I normally eat (ran out of chicken and have been using packaged chicken and turkey - the lowest-sodium ones I could find, but still much higher than the regular stuff; I think I got about twice my normal sodium the past three days).

As for yesterday, once I ate enough that I finally wasn't hungry anymore, I was fine and was able to cut back on my foods the rest of the day to make up for it. Lesson learned: If I'm that hungry for that long, I should just EAT.

Walked 5 minutes, jogged 20 minutes, walked 10 more.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I got my car back yesterday afternoon. Cost less than the second estimate, even - $866. Still expensive, but half the original estimate. And they said the part that broke was basically defective, so I took it with me and I'm going to complain to VW. Might not get me anywhere, but I figure it can't hurt and at least I'll feel better.

Off to have breakfast. Another salty day, unfortunately.

That is GREAT news on the car. To have an unexpected bill like that, and then have it be cut in half - wonderful! I hope your complaining gets you somewhere - but life being what it is, it probably won't - at least you'll feel better.

20 minutes of jogging?!?!?!! OK, me need get treadmill, and sports bra, and get moving! On those few moments in my recent life when I've had to jog to catch up to someone, or race after the baby outside, it has felt so good and so freeing to be able to even sprint for a bit and still be able to talk afterwards. I never understood why people ran or did cross-country in school - but I'm starting to get it. I want to be there!

Yeah for the jogging and walking. That's definitely exercise too!

Hey, Robin -

I don't think I congratulated you yet on your Maintenance Anniversary! Mazel Tov! I am thrilled for you and it's wonderful to watch you during this whole process.

Congrats on the good car news AND the 20 minutes of consecutive jog/running! I KNEW you could do it! Now it won't feel so overwhelming a task, it's like a notch on the bedpost, baby!

Yay for you!

Thanks, Lauren. I actually felt like I could have gone even longer, but decided to follow the c25k people's advice and not push it too much. But next week, on to week ... 6? 7? I've lost track. But on to the next week!

Now I just need to get rid of all this awful bloat. I drank extra water this morning, but I don't think it'll be enough. I need to stock up on fresh chicken so I can stop using the packaged stuff after today.

I'm going to lift weights at home tonight (upper body) so I can stop on my way home and get some chicken or something instead of eating more salt. Plus I'd kinda like to do legs with the trainer tomorrow, just to see what he has me do and how different it is from what Luke did.

Their policy of accepting non-Jewish members is actually pretty controversial. Most people joined the site to meet other Jews (I guess not all, though). Good luck!

And no, I didn't post a weight yesterday. I had a very small eating adventure Friday night when my planned dinner didn't work out (nothing REALLY horrible, just a Guiltless Gourmet dessert bowl and some extra peanut butter). No gym or lifting Friday night OR Saturday (had to cancel my training appointment because of a bad - very bad - reaction to a peach yesterday morning). Sigh. Not exactly a shining moment for me.

But today I'm going to walk extra long in the morning and tonight I'm going to do some lifting. And of course my food went back to normal pretty quickly (except I was out all day and didn't get nearly enough water). So I'm sure the extra pound I'm carrying right now will be gone soon enough.

Hope you get over the Peach reaction. I have to increase my water today also. I find the weekends are the hardest for me and water.

Have a great day

133.0; not bad after the weekend I had. Today's c25k week 6, plus I'll do the tape at work. And I'm going to try to lift tonight at home (arms). I'm hoping to go to the gym tomorrow for legs, because my friend will be here this weekend so I won't be able to go Friday night or possibly Saturday, either, and I'll be out of town all next week (I'll have a treadmill at the hotel, but a gym with weights is tougher, although I'll bring resistance bands - and there's always pushups and squats and lunges and stuff).

Have a good day, Robin. Reading about all your exercise is making me tired and I have 3 miles to walk in a few minutes.

That's still more than I do in the morning. I don't go as far; I just go faster. But hopefully I'll add a couple of miles with the afternoon video. I'm going to try like crazy to make it this week.

I did notice that today I had to use the last hooks on my Victoria's Secret bra. I had been using the middle ones. So that sounds like some progress (although I'd prefer to see progress in that lower tummy area, but at least this is something).

Anyway, I doubt I'll be able to be on here much today. We changed assignments last week, and I'm going to be SWAMPED. Odd, since it was mostly to reduce my workload. Sigh.

How in the world do you get to do an exercise tape at work? I want to work where your at.

I think the lower tummy area is the hardest to lose. I could probably already be in 16's if it wasn't for that. When it gets to that part of your body it's all about what you eat and then all the exercises your doing will show that wonderful toned tummy underneath.

Victoria's Secret - reminds me that I have a gift box up in the closet of bras and panties that I never quite got into on my last weight loss journey. May need to go check that out later.

I watch what I eat; doesn't seem to help. Heck, Medifast didn't help it at ALL. I finished the program with a worse waist-to-hip ratio than I had when I started. Sigh.

We go during our lunch break. There's a little area set up in the basement with a TV/VCR combo and a couple of carpet remnants and fans.
