I never much liked any of the products. I got used to them, but as soon as I started eating regular foods again, they lost their appeal for me. Plus they're TOO low in calories - I'm always looking for ways to boost my calories, not lower them (and doubling up would just mean way too many carbs for me).

Anyway, 132.6 today. Encouraging that it's dropping down a bit even though my problem remains. I did get the Miralax yesterday and take some last night.

Did C25K this morning, with a few extra minutes of walking at the end. Week 4 still, of course. I'm thinking NEXT week might be week 4, too, because it's pretty challenging for me. Although I can DO it, so maybe not. Today's the longer tape at work, with the "boxing bursts" of jogging intervals.

OK, this is going on way too long and I'm sick of feeling bloated. If it's not resolved tonight, I'm going to fix this the old-fashioned way - with some yummy sugar alcohols.

ROBIN,
Wish I was close enough to pick up the Capp & Chai drinks and Hot Cocoa. My favorites.
Hey, I picked up my 'Thin Club' book, and started reading it any spare time I have.
I'll probably read it and reread it. I could relate to what I've read and thought of different MF buddies that I think would really benefit by it.
Maybe most everyone of us would!
Congrats on the one year maintenance just two weeks ahead of me!
But 'member you started way before me!.......

Didn't work as well as I'd hoped, maybe because I limited the amounts. Got some relief, though, at least. But between that and the extra sodium yesterday (ran out of chicken and had to have processed turkey breast in my roll-ups), I'm at 133.2. No worries, though.

And not much to describe, Biki. I had sugar-free licorice, mostly because I don't like it very much so I wasn't worried about binging on it. Had one serving of that, plus I had half a serving of some sugar-free chocolate (which is all I had left in the house). Skipped my Fudgsicles to make up for some of the calories, but I would rather have had those.

Woke up exhausted. Did Shape but didn't add any extra time and held on for a lot of it. But it was that or not do it at all. Today is a regular tape at work, and then I have the gym tonight.

(And Lizabette, there's no capp or chai here. Never had 'em, never will. I hate coffee. And tea. And chai. Glad you're enjoying the book, though. I agree, I think a lot of folks here could benefit from it.)

Yeah, me, too. I think the sodium probably dehydrated me a little. Plus I haven't slept very well this week, so it's probably a delayed reaction.

The good news is I'm wearing the size 4 J. Jill jeans I bought a year ago to celebrate reaching goal (I don't wear 'em much because a) they've always been a wee bit snug and b) they're too short). I have a teeny bit of muffin top peeking out, but not enough so anyone else would notice.

Great job on the jeans. Walking around downtown I see chicks with muffin tops that look like loaves of bread. You know girls, you don't HAVE to wear tshirts with a bit of spandex in them. My faves are the ones that are so tight you can see these cavernous navels hugged by the tshirt. Mirror, anyone?

Size 4 is great Robin, your shrinking away. Hope your weekend is easy so you can get some rest.

I know girls that walk around with huge muffin tops and some with their bellies showing and they don't really care. I don't get it. I'm very self concious about what I wear and will not wear a sleeveless shirt because my arms are too big. A relative said something to me years ago so every top I wear has to have sleeves of some sort.

We have a little midsummer shape-up series running right now (first it was three butt exercises, then three abs exercises, and now three arm exercises). I wanted the headline to be "The right to bare arms," and one editor was afraid people would think we were saying people with flabby arms shouldn't go sleeveless. I said no, they shouldn't!! Just like people with flabby stomachs, myself included, shouldn't wear belly shirts and bikinis. For heaven's sake, people, cover up!!

Robin, do you really believe that fat people in 100 degree heat (who feel even hotter because of their excess weight) shouldn't bare their upper arms so we don't have to look at them? If a fat woman has acccepted her body enough to reveal her arms, good for her. She has made one step out of society's prison of what is beautiful. What about at the pool or beach? Should they not make bathing suits over a size 10 or so? Should they wear muumuus? I hope you are joking.

Okay, I'll give you that. They shouldn't be made above a certain size.

Wow. I didn't see this coming at ALL, but I just had my first little binge in months - and after missing not only the afternoon workout (too busy) but the gym, too (realized halfway there that I didn't have everything I needed).

Interestingly, I think this was less emotional and more just flat-out hunger. For some reason I've been hungrier the past couple of days and today was especially bad. The good news is I didn't go all-out crazy, and I'm done now. But after my regular day's food, I had a Guiltless Gourmet dessert (you know those new microwaveable things?) and one little piece of dark chocolate with just a smidge of peanut butter. So really, less than 300 calories extra. But still, they weren't exactly healthy calories and they weren't part of the plan.

Back to normal now. No more food tonight, C25K tomorrow morning followed by a session with the trainer. Two meals out, but they'll be healthy ones. And in the meantime, I'm going to try not to beat myself up.
