Postby bk » May 3rd, 2005, 12:53 pm

Hi all! Can someone do me a favor and post the directions for the soups? are they both 1 cup of water? I flavor & pre-nuke my soups in the a.m. so the times don't really matter.

Thanks g uys!

BK.......I usually put about 6-7 oz of water...however the box suggests 1 cup of cold water..............you had it right all along.........both are the same: micro for 2 mins.....let stand for one - two minutes....then nuke an additional minute........ :bib: .........ENJOY

Soups...

Postby eddieHoustonTX » May 30th, 2005, 10:41 am

Hi BK,

I think that the soups are 8oz of water, but I always add a bit more to make more soup. They have a tendency to thicken up a bit, so I have never experienced anything negative by adding the xtra water. It pays to let the soup sit for 5-10 minutes after nuking it, covered, so that the rice gets tender. I also always add MRS DASH to add an xtra pep along with a shot of tabasco. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

I find that a little dash of Curry Powder helps all the soups and I don't even really care for Curry.

With the chicken rice soup, after it has cooked, I add lemon juice, and oregano. It really makes a difference!
