Diet Soda, flavored syrup, no prob?

Postby kimalexrn » July 7th, 2005, 7:43 am

Hello, It's late Kim again. Im just discovering diet soda with my shakes :guzzle: . I want to make sure I'm doing right. I made this shake consisting of diet orange soda, my orange shake package, sugar free orange syrup and ice. A few seconds in my majic bullet, and wah lah. I felt so guilty and full from this shake. It was wonderful. I was in heaven :D :D . So what did I do wrong. Surely this isn't exceptable. I'm sure I cant have diet soda in every shake, right? And if not, how much is ok. I bought so many different flavored syrups yesterday. I was a kid in a candy store. I just want to do everything right. So can anybody or everybody tell me how much is allowed, whats cool, and whats not. And last but not least. I tried my banana blitz in the blender with ice, water and chocolate syrup. Incredible.!!!!!. Put me on the right path. :? :?

Sheesh! You are really mixing up the concoctions in your kitchen, eh?

While in theory, you may certainly mix every packet with diet pop if that is what rings your chimes. I have one customer who mixes 5 Dutch Chocolate shake packets a day with a can of Diet Croak – he has done this every day for three months…I personally would not want to scarf that much diet pop but you may certainly do so…be sure to drink some real live water every day, too…make sure you use sugar free syrups…

Whirl away, Girl! With every shake you slurp, you are getting closer to your goal weight!

Thanks Nancy, I doubt if I use the soda in every shake everyday, but oh my god, it is good. I thought I was doing wrong. It taste soooooooooooo good, it had to be against what MF wants us to have. Hearing that its OK has made me a happy camper. I cant wait to see what else I can create. :D :D :D :D

Vicky ~

re:
From what I've heard about those SF syrups, they really jazz up even the "not best" tasting shakes.

Oh ,yes! Did I tell you that I actually got Terry to eat broccoli with DaVinci Sugar free Caramel Syrup and Unca ate liver with DaVinci Sugar Free Peanut Butter syrup drizzled on it... :roflmao:
