Diet Aides

Postby Thinner and Tanner » July 2nd, 2005, 4:47 pm

Question? :?: Would it be safe (wise) to include a diet suppressant while on MF?
I realize MF has produt(s) with appetite suppressants in them, however; I have been used to taking a product called Xenadrine (ephedra free) which seemed to work very well in the past. I thought maybe it would hopefully enhance the diet program. :D
I still have over half a bottle and would like to try try to incorporate them into my MF diet plan. Of course I would only take 1/2 the recommended dosage.
Has anyone else tried this with the MF Program?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's finally getting easier! :-P

I don't think you'd need it, really. I find that -- at least after the first three days or so -- I rarely get hungry except when it's time to eat. There are occasional days when "the hungries" hit; those are usually at "that time of month" or else reflective of my body about to dump a lot of weight, but they don't happen a lot. I personally would rather avoid taking anything in the nature of a drug that I don't absolutely have to take. YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary).

Thinner.... .....I spent MANY years on diet suppresents... :hmmm: ..whether prescription or over the counter............I too thought of taking one in addition to using MF.............Thank God I didn't as there really is no need to ...... ........and this is the first time in my life that I actually lost a good amount of weight with my own sweat & tears...... :yay: .....absolutly drug free..... :bouncie: .....so I would opt for trying it w/out anything...... ......you are putting such healthy nutrition in your body with MF...........you wouldn't want to ruin it with taking something that isn't neccesary ......only my opinion

Dear Thinner and Tanner ~

IMHO, one of the best things about Medifast is that it is a nutritional approach to weight management.

Our Medifast Plus Appetite Suppression shakes use the pulp of an Asian fruit to provide a sensation of fullness plus soy is a natural appetite suppressant.

Personally in light of the side effects of some of the OTC and prescription appetite suppressants that stimulate the central nervous system, I would prefer to avoid products that have  warning labels.

Many products contain caffeine.

Most all of my clients are satisfied with the suppression afforded by the MF 55 shakes after a few days on the program and only some require the MF+ Appetite Suppression for hunger break-through. Some switch from the Medifast 55 to the MF 70 if hunger lasts for very long.
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
