Thanks, all. I'm always humbled by the warm sense of community on the MakeMeThinner forum. Part of the Trilogy of Health is a healthy mind --fulfillment. Part of that, though, is self-confidence and self-esteem. Your encouragements, notes of hello and concern, and positive feedback are a huge factor in the way my own self-image (hence, self-confidence and esteem) is changing. Many, many thanks for the impact you all have on my life (which includes your impact on Mike which also directly impacts me through our marriage).
I'm on my way to feeling better than I've felt all summer -- just in time for school to start. I am, however, having to miss the first two days with my students because of physical issues I'm having with the meds I've been on. I'm off one of them; the other will be done in a few days. So, Thursday will be my first day of school. I've heard, though, that I've got a really good sub. And our new principal is being very supportive and compassionate. Both of those really help.
I haven't heard anything about the results of the CT scan. But this is Kaiser -- no news is good news. And the BEST news is that I think we've FINALLY gotten things under control! I'm feeling SO much better! Wiped out, but better! Apparently, this has been simply a really bad bacterial sinus infection (with migraines on top of it). So, yeah, it's all in my head.
Here's to our mutual success!
