My friend told me she passed by a Medifast "store" the other day. It's off Preston Rd. between Hedgecoxe and 121 somewhere. Don't know if that's Plano or Frisco. Anyone hear of this? I might go by tomorrow to check it out. Just curious...

It would sure save on shipping and last minute crises. They should expand to malls like GNC does.

I'll bet your friend saw a "Medfast" store. It's a pharmacy here in PA.

It was a Medifast Clinic. They have a doctor and a practitioner. You "enroll" in the program and are monitored by them with weekly check-ins. You can't go there to get food unless you are enrolled.

Maybe good for some, but I have done just fine online with all of you!

Bummer. I think in emergencies, we're probably better off helping each other! I know I'd be willing to bail out one of you guys in my area.

They have one of those clinics in Tucson, too. They also have a board, which is the most boring thing ever to even read. I am much happier doing it on my own (ordering) and on here (support)

We have one of those where I used to live.

I went to it about 7 yrs ago and it was $800 a month! I signed up(I was desperate) and when I couldnt start it because my Dr said my bloodwork wasnt approved for it..they refused to give my money back. I I blew $800 for nothing. I think that is why I was so hesitant to sign up for MF this time but once I found I bought what I needed when I was all for it!

That's NOT good business!
Business practices like that will give Medifast a bad name. Too bad.
