Thanks for the support guys! I am really gung ho...I'm SO ready to join my friends in Maintenance!

Okay, so I've been back on MF for four weeks today...the scale fairy came by last night and I dropped TWO POUNDS! Thank goodness Aunt Flo finally left!!!!!!!! One month totals-15.2lbs, I'm SO excited about that since I was sick and rocking the NyQuil for the first 10 days or so! I'm reporting in at the one month mark at 206.2lbs!

I am happy to report, I have attained my first mini-goal...........I'M OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, folks, I am no longer OBESE! People think it's funny for me to be so excited to be overweight, but y'all probably have a good idea what I'm talking about!

Next stop............the 60# club...Next step after that...ONEDERLAND!!

BTW, walked 22 minutes so far today...gotta go work climbing steel now!

Good for you Dede! You are doing so well and your mindset sounds right on to get it done!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » February 1st, 2008, 9:06 pm

I did better today, L & G at Subway, so I KNOW what went in it! I'm still having trouble with the water...running around the jobsite, but I put my pedometer on and I got 35000 steps, so I think my workout for the day is done!

I got my new car tonight! It's pretty. It's definitely a boy and I'm thinking of names now...nothing has popped out!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Let's do this!

35,000 steps? Good heavens girl you are going to walk away to a tiny bit of a thing! (Your enthusiasm for the program is infectious! Thank you).

Well, first, i see that you have actually put one of those pedometers to use! 35,000 steps?!? Wow, and think, they recommend about 10,000. You're right, your exercise was done for the day. Congrats on that one. Your weight is gonna start dropping off like you wouldn't believe if you keep that up. I'm just trying to catch up and see how everyone is doing. Had to pop in and say

Ready for this? Pedometer says 39,000 steps today, can't wait for tomorrow to be over!!!!!!!!!! That's a BIG stadium!

I'm behind on my water because I was on a Diet Coke today dragging my heiney around the perimeter of the stadium I don't know how many times.

Will the scale fairy visit for tomorrow? Not sure, scale hasn't moved since Wednesday, but no matter, I'm doing the right things!

Hi
No scale fairy visit yesterday...same weight I was at Wednesday. I'm SURE it was because I've been running my heiney off for work. I'm thinking about adding an extra shake to see if I start losing again.

Here's the next problem...left the superbowl at 2am, left my house for the airport at 5:30am, arrived in Florida, airlines lost one of my bags, the one with the Medigrub...I have 4 RTD's and a bar until they find it. But...my BeSlim order is coming here, so I just have to improvise until they find my bag and deliver it or my BeSlim arrives.

Hope all is well with you all!

THOSE Medifast stealing airlines! So, I enjoyed the SB...I envy your job, not for the places you see ( that is rather cool) BUT for the 39000 you can pull off. Drink extra water you put yourself through the paces this weekend!

Then go listen to a soft song with your new car....cars need love too!

Hey just a thought if they do not find your bags in time. There are a lot of physicians in Florida, maybe you can call. They do have 2 medifast centers in florida :D

Hiya! Just stopping in to see how the Macy's float thing is going for ya??

Here's a thought - have you considered that the travel bloat may be due to increased movement - maybe ya need another shake? I do drink extra extra extra water when I travel and I still bloat. This week, however, I don't feel bloated and my legs even look OK. I've been eating an extra meal (well, actually doing the 5-1 instead of the full fast) and I think the extra calories may be helping. The week isn't over yet - I've been on two airplanes and have 2 more to go so we shall see! Anyway, just thought I would mention it. I previously *ass*u*me*d that the bloat was due to lack of water (though I was getting plenty) instead of lack of food!

Good luck getting your food - that bites!! OMGosh I'd just freak if that happened to me, LOL. I normally only have a bar or two and a few shakes in my carry on. My main bag is full of RTD's :)
