Hi

Postby dede4wd » August 7th, 2007, 11:47 am

I'm still walking every day, it's just getting on the hotel treadmill or doing one of those DVD's I lug around. I just can't MAKE myself do it every day! I'll get there though!

Not going mental, just trying to MAKE myself do something!

Doing well on program.

Did 19 minutes on the stairmaster today (including cool down) and INTEND to do the 5 minute Hip Hop abs routine before bed. Doing ok!

Hope you all are doing well!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » August 10th, 2007, 6:08 pm

I'm trying very hard Silver Fox!

21 minutes on the stairmaster today, but no hip hop abs (on the 2nd floor of the hotel, can't jump around).

I think I had an extra shake yesterday, but I just got my time zones mixed up (what time zone am I in again?)

Hope everyone is doing well! I hear 19 more days of daily exercise and my brain will consider it a HABIT! We'll see!

I know, DEE. Didn't mean to pressure you. I remember vividly how my weight loss slowed down near the end.
I don't mind waiting for you at all. You're worth it!
WOW on your exercise...

Last time I got on a treadmill I started to have a panic attack and had to push the emergency stop button. This was in the hotel gym we stayed at for the 4th of July. I wish my brain wasn't weird.

I love seeing people doing the exercise I wish I was doing - it's really motivating. I hope to do the stairmaster soon, DeDe. They don't have one at my apartment complex so I will have to do it at school when I start going to the gym for spinning classes and swim lessons. Fall should be so much fun!

Not that I need another exercise dvd, but I might check out hip hop abs. Sounds like you're able to fit it in since there is a 5 minute option. Hope you're having a great day! Oh - and it sounds like you'll be in that maintenance chair pretty quickly if you keep all this exercise up :)

Biki - I have a treadmill at home. I bought it second-hand from a friend who only used it 6 times. I had always wanted one of my own but didn't want to pay the big bucks and had no way to haul and setup myself. She and her husband delivered and set it up for me. It is in my bedroom (I have plenty of room there) in front of a TV, under a ceiling fan. I have no excuse not to use it!!! I usually get on it to watch the evening network news.

I did have a panicky situation on a gym treadmill once. I had been on it 45 minutes and at a fast clip and was ready to stop. I slowed down gradually but when I got to 2mph I was ready to hop off. I pushed the stop button and it wouldn't stop!!! It malfunctioned somehow and I had to scream for help. My daughter helped me jump off. They took it out of service and then it disappeared so I guess it just went mental with me on it!
