Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 26th, 2007, 2:40 pm

So,
I'm packing for my first trip out. My food is there waiting for me and I'm excited to get back on the road. When I'm home too long, what I eat and when I eat becomes more important than it should. I'm one of those people who does much better when I'm very busy.

I'm NOT bringing my scale, so I am participating in the compliance challenge, but I won't be able to weigh until the 10th of Feb. I sure hope Miami is warmer than AZ is.

I agree with you - the busier I am the better!

Have a great and safe trip in Florida - my parents were there this week and said the weather was excellent!

Cheers!

I'm all packed, clothes, gear and medigrub! Bring on the daing football game! So excited to get back on the road. Kind of excited to leave the scale at home too! I'll be on once a day, I'm not abandoning anyone!

Good luck tomorrow everyone and I'm ready to start the compliance challenge!

DeDe

Oh good. I was afraid of going into DeDe withdrawal if you weren't going to be on at all! A great weight has been lifted off my shoulders, now if it would lift off my butt...

Guido, he did you this favor...the scale works now...
Now Guido wants a favor...

It's KILLING me, what do you do? It seems to revolve around sports schedules...short of going back and reading all you posts( which I might) please tell.....or if anyone has a clue...I laugh because I hate getting a thought in my head, when you have posted you are going here or there, I always seem to ask why? Which leads to the question...Meanwhile enjoy Miami...

DeDe have a great trip. By the way, what is it that you do? I'm sure it is on here somewhere, but haven't found it yet.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » February 11th, 2007, 10:11 am

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been so terrible about keeping up. I've been working 15-17 hour days. I've been trying to read at night, but haven't been posting much. I guess that makes me a lurker! My cellular internet card has been hit and miss so I got a new one when I got home.

I'm not weighing this week as I had an incident at SUperbowl. Turns out they wouldn't let me bring ANY food or drink in and I was there for 18 hours. I did the best I could, but you know what kind of food they serve there! I've been really compliant since then, but I have no idea what that did to me scale-wise and I don't want to know.

As for what I do, I'm a little too tall to be Jeff Gordon! I work in event live broadcast. I transport, install, fix, troubleshoot, operate and direct content for the big screen LED's (Jumbotron) the fans watch when at a concert, sporting event or big gathering of almost any type. So, sometimes they pay me to watch TV since everything's going well. Sometimes I'm on a camera for 16 hours and sometimes I'm hanging upside down behind a screen cussing and hurling things at whatever part is not working! Sometimes I'm tooling around the country in a multi-million dollar 18-wheeler, sometimes I'm stuck in a director's chair for 12-15 hours.

I'll report my weight next week. I feel okay, so I'm not too worried about it!

I hope everyone has a great week! I'll be catching up with all of you as best I can as I don't leave until Thursday.

Thanks for checking in and I know you did the best you could. My whole body would have been slathered in nacho cheese sauce with jalapenos where my eyes should be!
