LOL... I just tried my first crispy choco mint bar today. Actually, thanks to the not-so-shining reviews, I was expecting a lot worse and was, therefore, pleasantly surprised :). It tasted plenty minty to me and for the most part, I enjoyed it. I still have a few of the oldies left, they are in the back of the shelf behind my other bars. I think I will wait until I go through all of the other bars until I get into those again. I am curious if they will taste as yummy to me by then.

Anyway, cheers,
Karli

Hi,

Just checking in. I'm doing well with three members of my family visiting. I've been eating my L & G's out, but am staying compliant. I even sat through a lunch at In and Out Burger and a "trip" to Coldstone Creamery! I guess I'm committed!

I hope everyone is doing well and I'll be back on more often on Monday!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 8th, 2007, 11:58 pm

I did well, they're all gone now...phew!

I am glad they came, but glad they're gone too. I had too many restaurant L & G's, and it's hard for me, not knowing if the veggies are REALLY steamed, etc. I end up with more sodium than I"m used to etc. I hope the scale is kind to me, but I FEEL like I'm still in the plateau.

If I am, I'll mix things up a little, I'm kind of a creature of habit and sometimes a shake when I usually have an oatmeal or whatever helps. I'm not going to obsess about it until weigh-in day (tomorrow).

You came through like the trooper that you are! You have to remember-I haven't eaten a L&G in public yet so I pay close attention to those who do-what to watch for, what to request...good job!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 9th, 2007, 2:38 pm

Today is my weigh-day, so I did. No change, nothing, nada, zilch. Week 2 of the plateau is starting...how exciting!

I'm measuring my L & G better, I'm shaking up the locations and times of my food. I'll cut out the bar and add a shake later in the week.

I know i'm stronger than the plateau and I know I can wait my body out. I'm not all that worried about it!

I'm going to get back on the pilates machine tonight and see if I can start making a habit out of it!

In all honesty, I just need one good BM to get to 175!!!

As you said, maybe some exercice can help you to stop this plateau... But you have already lost almost 90 lbs, that's brillant! As you said, you're stronger than your plateau :)

Hey Dede! Are you over your plateau yet? Not me! :x I'm gonna go for the all MF for a few days. I've been putting it off, hoping the scale would move, but, not a chance. So off we go! Gotta get that scale movin'!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 11th, 2007, 1:24 pm

Well, up .04lb today...yay (not so much!)

Lori,
Thanks for the support!

Sojo,
I tried the haircut...not enough...the other things on the list, we'll see how dire this situation gets before I decide which toes...do I need a gallbladder?

Kananni,
I'm starting today with all MF meals for a couple of days. Just to see if I can even get it moving at all. If it's a no-go, then I'll cut the bar, add a shake. I already cut out the soy crisps and other snacks. Hope it gets you out of your plateau.

Thanks for your help everyone?

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 12th, 2007, 12:03 pm

So,
I didn't doo all MF yesterday. A friend came into town and I ended up at Outback. I had a legal L & G. I am doing full MF today and tomorrow, just to see if I can jumpstart myself out of this plateau. I'm still sad about it but not too worried! I'm suffering from weather-induced depression right now. The valley of the sun isn't so sunny today!
