LOVE THE DRESS! I feel ya on the exercise thing. You went at it way harder than i did but i find that as of this morning i am only down .1 from last sunday. Unfortunately, i don't have a lot to slack off on so it may not even be attributed to my exercise. OMGosh, as i was typing this, i just realized that for me, it is that TOM. MAYBE THAT'S IT! DUH!!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 18th, 2008, 11:46 pm

Hi All,
I'm contemplating throwing my scale out the window...I need to stay off it for a few days. I KNOW I'm doing everything right. I just have to push through not losing AN OUNCE since last sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to have a good WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH Poor me parade, but then I think, at least I didn't gain and my whole pity party is ruined!

Now I'm just going to concentrate on measuring my L & G and snack and water and pilates and I'll win this silly staring contest with my body!

I think I might have missed the welcoming back part of the whole "how are ya Dede?" So, welcome back.

Was fun chatting with you and Unca the other day.

You wants Guido to take care of it?

Did the scale blink yet? I hope so. If not, in the meantime, here's a little something for your eyelids...<img src="http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg189/lifelovinaries/toothpick.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">

you are gonna win this one!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 20th, 2008, 10:59 pm

Thanks for the toothpics and the threats of violence against the scale...you guys scared it but good!

I'm happy to report after not budging ALL WEEK that I have lost a grand total of .08lbs. I'll take it, the scale blinked a little. My spotting (TMI ALERT) turned into a full-fledged sneak-attack visit by Aunt Flo and she's still here...wonder if she'll skip her scheduled visit then? I don't like bleeding while on the orange pills, I'm supposed to bleed during the white pills!

I know this will all be cleared up by next month...As for the scale W*#re aspects of my life...I weigh 3x per day when I'm home and not at all on the road (unless they have a crappy scale at the hotel gym which I just use as a guideline) and I'm glad I have that tool. I don't base my day or mood on it, just useful info about whether there was salt in that restaurant salad and such!

I posted my measely loss in roll call...I remember fondly the days when we had 4 pages of people posting in roll call, now we have 10? Is it the curse of the end of January?
Okay, flying in the morning, gotta pack.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 21st, 2008, 8:50 pm

Since you asked...morning after peeing twice and exhaling intently...night before I go to bed and just for fun in the middle of the day if I'm around because it's funny to me to see my weight go up 3lbs after a rtd and a glass of water!

OWTO...get out that tether, I'm going in the macy's parade...flying has given me some SERIOUS cankles and I got suckered into the teriaki place for a l & g...last time I got plain chicken and veggies there...I watched them steam the veggies for me, but this time they must've slipped me a sodium mickey because I feel like the stay-puff marshmellow woman!!!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 24th, 2008, 11:45 pm

Flying home tomorrow night...still feel bloaty but am so JONESING to see the scale! I just like seeing what it says! This is my first trip out since re-starting, but I have been compliant.

I've had restaurant meals and I always worry about the sodium and added "stuff, but I'm proud of myself for being compliant even while going out to eat with co-workers and friends, so...I'm SERIOUSLY glad to be back on program!

If the scale STILL hasn't moved...I'll know that I'm doing the right thing and eventually it'll be good!

I've only been on the treadmill 2x this week, but I need to make sure I"m not working out too hard and that's not the reason I'm not losing...I might add a shake...just in case.

I got some great work news today and some great personal news today, and I've finally decided to buy a new car, so even if the scale doesn't move...life is good!
Hope everyone is doing well! This is our year!

Hey there, just checking in! I need to re-start. I am so damned miserable after gaining my weight back. I just have no energy to re-start.
