That's great. I had some days like that in the very beginning but fewer now that I have gotten used to my newer self. Now I just see the flab.

I'm having one.
I woke up this morning and I swear I can feel a little more of my hipbones through my flab. I swear my face looks thinner and happier. I swear I FEEL really good! I haven't felt this way since before the cruise. Like it's all coming together, like I'm going to make it! Like life is good!I don't have a scale on this trip, so I have no idea if this will show on the scale, but I don't care! I feel good, I suddenly feel like I look good and I'm HAPPY today!
Hope everyone else is too!
DeDe

Ah yes.....hip bones. I think I had forgotten I even had any. I think what you are feeling is a side-effect to MF. I had heard warnings about this......I sure hope it doesn't last long. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so good. HeHe.....just kidding. Actually, if you think about it.....it is a side-effect of MF, just a most excellent one. Congratulations!!!!!!!

Thanks!

The weird side-effect is still happening! I still feel really GOOD! I FEEL like I'm dropping some weight and healthier and happier! I won't be able to tell if it reflects on the scale or not until Tuesday, but who cares? I'm doing this to feel healthy and feel good and I currently have both, so I don't care what the scale says (yeah right!)

Hope all you Mother's have a WONDERFUL Mother's Day! Thanks for being Moms!

I am so glad you feel healthy and happy! That is just wonderful. I feel that way now but was down this morning. It helps to read posts with so much enthusiasm behind them!

I can't explain it, it's like someone pulled a switch! I KNOW I'm going to make it to goal, I KNOW I'm getting healthier, I KNOW I'm already happier and I KNOW I look better!

What else is there to know?

Hi

Postby dede4wd » May 20th, 2007, 11:50 pm

So, I've decided to up my workouts a bit...I've decided not to weigh until May 29 and want to just concentrate on trying to develop a steady workout routine. I ordered Hip Hop abs a couple of weeks ago and it finally showed up.

I tried my first 2 workouts tonight...the fat burning cardio and the last minute abs 5 minute ab workout.

Okay first the fat burning cardio...the first thing I realized VERY quickly is that I have ABSOLUTELY no rhythm! This didn't come as a big surprise with how clumsy I am, but it was still frustrating. I'm sure I'll get better as I learn the moves. The music wasn't overly annoying...just thump thump thump like in a dance club. "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me"-type stuff.

One thing I noticed...it didn't seem like I was working that hard. I definitely was keeping up with the advanced folks and usually when starting a new cardio workout, I have to stop and rest...I never did. I just had to stop for a sec to see what the heck move they were doing! I got the hang of it. I WAS sweating like a pig though, so I guess that was good (it also didn't help that it's 85 degrees in that room!)

Then I decided to try the last minute abs five minutes routine! It was pretty cool...I'm a teeny bit sore but willing to give it a week or so.

Basically, I don't much like the cardio aspect of it because I don't have the moves, but I think I'll probably like the ab, butt and thigh workouts more!

That's all I know so far!

Also, I decided to order a colon cleanse to see if I can get any junk out of my intestines as I have a pooch in my lower belly that I don't think is ALL FAT and I want to get rid of the junk in there as I don't have all that regular BM's. I'll let you know how that goes too! Don't worry, I won't go into too much detail!

Hope everyone has a GREAT WEEK!

D
