I have nothing to add. Just wanted to lend some moral support. Maybe just try a different lean and green for a change, like fish for a few days? Or have it earlier, for breakfast or something, to shake things up?

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 16th, 2007, 5:01 pm

Thanks Robin,
I'm trying EVERYTHING to shake it up. I won't shake myself to Taco Bell, don't worry.

Today is my weigh-in day...176.8. Basically no change. What really irks me is that I'm now sick (I KNEW I had weather-induced blues, now I have weather-induced sickness too! At least i'm doing better than my outdoor plants!) and I SWEAR I've blown 6lbs of snot out my nose (I know...TMI).

I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and I will win this staring contest, I will beat the plateau and the flu and whatever else gets in the way between me and goal!

Hehe, DeDe...
your TMI reminded me of something Jo once asked: "Does post-nasal drip have carbs?"
:roflmao:
Get better, girl!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 17th, 2007, 4:24 pm

Okay, I'm done with the sinus pyrotechnics, so that's good. No change on the scale. I'm not coughing anymore, so that's good!

I'm doing all MF meals today, just to shake things up a bit (so I'm doing 7 MF meals). I'm trying all kinds of things to bust this plateau. It's getting kind of boring! I know I don't need the validation of the scale moving to know I'm doing the right thing, but it sure is helpful!

Lucy, I appreciate the kind offer and am considering it! If this scale doesn't fix it's attitude by this weekend, I think a visit by Guido or one of the other people who know people might be in order...

Hi

Postby dede4wd » January 18th, 2007, 1:06 pm

I caved Karli,

I had chicken & broccoli. I did the 7 meals Tuesday, but I SO look forward to my L & G's and I've cut the bars out, I need SOMETHING to look forward to it!

I'm changing up when and what I eat, but I NEED my L & G. No change so far...
