Hi

Postby dede4wd » December 26th, 2006, 1:28 pm

Thanks Karli,

I'm over being upset at my friend for "feeding" me the alcohol, more upset at myself for not noticing and even more upset at myself for saying "I'm already screwed" and continuing.

But, life happens, I didn't have any junky food, I feel A LOT better! Onward and downward! Did I mention rockabilly boy was 22? Yikes!

I know today is my weigh in day, but I've decided against weighing after the grey goose incident. I'm just going to report in for Sunday roll call. I feel much better, I didn't get enough water in during the trip, and add grey goose to that and this girl was a bit dehydrated!!!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great holiday! Let's head for the new year a little thinnier!

Ahhhh I remember those days, being young and 22....I mean, it was just last year!?!?! LOL
I hang out with older people and have since I was like 10. One of my good friends is in her late thirties(which isnt old by any means- I TRUELY believe age is just a number) and when we went out dancing she would dance with guys my age and I was like,"Shake it Sista!!!"
Dede, you are hott, they know it, and they just wanted in on the action...LOL By the way how young are you???
And as far as the alcohol goes...at least you drank the good stuff...not the cheap vodka. If you are gonna intake extra calories might as well be top shelf grey goose... ;)

Now I know not to do the same until I am at goal!...Crap I still have like 3 weeks before I am off these darn meds and can start, I was feeling down as today was suppose to be my start day but you made me smile smile smile....reminds me of the movie Stripes when Bill Murrays tells one character "Man I want to party with you"....thanks for the smile!

Lucy,
NSV means "non-scale victory." It's a term we use when we get a compliment, some cutie patotie hits on us, a little kid tells us we're skinny, we fit into "those" jeans, etc...

As for me, my NSV was that this "wallflower" (so used to being looked past and looked around) got a little of the "old DeDe" back and went and found the cutest boy there and waited for him to hit on me...which he did!

I'm still a little upset with myself...I could have stopped the damage where it was had I just gone back to water and danced, but NO, I started ordering DRINKS...brilliant!

Debra, I'm 35. Don't tell Rockabilly Ryan that! It never came up in the...conversation!

Oooohhh! You remember his name-I could never do that. I would have to search around the house looking for mail or for diplomas on the wall while the dude was in the shower. Then I still got caught because it could be his roommate's mail or if he was named William he could have all sorts of nicknames or some went by their middle names. Ah, the agony of it all.

AHHH, I understand NSV now...my Ryan was named Spencer, I was always a chunk, so at 27 I ate salads and danced 7 nights a week at country bars in S California, next thing you know I was a size 9...went out one night and saw Spencerand made sure he saw me....AHHHHHHH

Biki btw you had me laugh out loud with the I could never remember his name!

Dede seriously, remember the possitive and quit beating yourself up, the Goose is gone, but stressing will only lead to bad, weight gain and nasties like that.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » December 27th, 2006, 10:08 am

Thanks guys, I'm over it! The goose is gone, the streak of compliance counter has re-started and it's all good. I'm spending this New Year's Eve under 200lbs for the first time in YEARS and life is good.

I'm moving towards goal and I feel better again. All is well!
