Had a great time meeting Dede tonight. We went to Chili's. Dede looks FABULOUS!

Yes, you do !! You both look really great. I am getting sad about this, though... it makes me wish I could meet up with one of all you people for a L/G. Sometime, maybe. I am still scared to try to get a true L/G from anywhere but me making it myself (I used to work in a bakery and also in a resturante... I know too much :-P).

I had the greatest time! Lori and I are Medi-fast connected as we started on the same day and have the same amount of weight left to go! It was SO GREAT talking to her!

Lori just looked WONDERFUL! Radiant! Happy! Beautiful!

I ate too much L & G tonight, but at least I didn't smoke. After dinner was over, I was shaking my foot so much I almost launched my flip flop across the room! After meal smoking is now a "trigger" time for me that I'll have to watch!

I'm also very worried about transition and maintenance and Lori just isn't, so she really calmed me down about it! I'm SO GLAD I met her!

Thanks for coming to get me Lori and getting me out of this darned hotel and thanks for stopping for lotion and vitamins!

I do the "If Mama Ain't Happy, Ain't Nobody Happy" tour EVERY June to go visit my GF's in IL, WI, OH, AZ for a total of a week or week 1/2, depending on Hubby-Unit's personal leave build-up...

Ya know... just throwin' that out there... nudge nudge, wink wink... lol

Seriously, you guys look awesome... I have VERY MUCH enjoyed your success posts/pics and am SO INSPIRED by your ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!

Wow - 10!!?? I'm all over it! I may be blowing off the IL leg of my trip next year (see my Journal entry, blah blah) and I have been invited to stay for a couple of days at my GF's new house around Mesa, Tempe, etc. Let's line that up, ay!? :thumbsup: Is that close to you guys?

Nikki, I'll be in Talladega later in the fall...I stay in Birmingham, how far is that from you?


I'm in Toney, Al - a VERY rural 'burb about 20 miles north of Huntsville, Al (NASA). Driving to B-Ham is NOTHING from here - MAYBE 2 hours, with traffic? 1.5 hrs. w/ good timing... have made that drive a bazillion times when my Grandma was in the hospital there (long story for a 'nuther day).

I'm all over it... when in the fall will you be in B-Ham, Dede? Fall is weird for me because I have two kiddos in cheer for football season & for some reason, people flip out about divorce recovery/stepfamily issues around the holidays (lol - no idea WHYY!? ha ha) ;) But I can ALWAYS work in a day trip w/ a little notice! :D

I'll have to check the dates, but It'll be Wednesday-Sunday the week of the Nascar race.

As for Mesa, It's not too far from where I live, so if I'm in town, I'd LOVE to see you when you come out to 'Zonie!

You guys are really making me wish Hubby gets orders back to Az. We would be in Yuma, but thats only about 2.5 hrs away. Who knows where I will end up!
