Day two

Postby sheri1103 » April 10th, 2007, 3:56 pm

Hi All - I had to chuckle at the replies to my last post. Nope I promise no hourly updates! :woohoo:

I have to say that once again I do not seem to be going through the 3 day withdrawal. I feel great.

In fact I want to start some lite walking - but every time I try it rains!
Ah life in the Pacific Northwest.

Have pulled out my knitting and set up my jig saw puzzle table. All good things to keep my mind off food.

:bighug:

What are you knitting, Sheri? I'm knitting a baby sweater right now and I love to knit socks.

Hi Jo, I knit and crochet afghans, caps, scarves and blankets. I donate alot of what I make in honor of my sister who died a couple of years ago at 43. She loved to crochet and I have some of the lovely things she made. So I started a non profit called "From Lindy with Love" and donate my things to the homeless.

And it is a great way to keep my hands and my mind occupied and out of the pantry/or fridge!! :D

Sheri, I felt great when I started the program too (if my memory is still working, lol ). I hope the feeling continues for you (it should).

I've been trying to knit a sock and am having the hardest time with it. Rip it out, start again, rip it out, start again......I shall learn to do this!!! :x

Hi Biki -I am using the spring colors right now - light green and white.
Actually started a project last night with size 50 (!!) needles.

I can't wait till my weight loss = the size of my knitting needles!! :)

That sounds fun! My mom loves to do that...me..well..she tried to teach me. Many times. It just didn't work out... :)

Keeping the hands out of the cookie jar...well that is a hobby all in itself. You should hear the conversations I have with myself. The most recent thing I really want is a glass wine...I am not even a big drinker and go months without having a drink and all of sudden..yup..I want something I can not have. Hmm..do you think Walden foods or whatever it is makes calorie/carb free wine???
