Day 6 for me and I am down 11.8 lbs. I am super happy with that, but gosh darn I am still really really hungry. I had dreams of bacon last night :D My husband is down 8.2 lbs and is not so hungry today. Any words of wisdom to control the hunger? I hope you all are having a great day

Misty-

11.8 pounds in 6 days!!! WOW! :-P Bet you feel great about that. Are you utilizing the legal snacks to help you during the day. I have sf jello every day. Don't forget about fast soups, MF crackers, celery, and pickles. ;) Drink lots of water. I have one diet soda a day and that helps. Hope the hungries go away soon!

MistyW----WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!11.8#s in 6 days.. I'm impressed!!! I usually have a cup of the soup around lunchtime with a pack of crackers and it keeps me full.. I also eat dill pickles whenever i get really hungry..I'm learning to appreciate them..Hopefully your dreams will change from food to you at goal weight soon. you should stop getting those hunry pains after a couple of weeks(thats how long it was for me)The sugar free jello will help also.. celery and mustard help.. you and your husband are doing great together.. My husband is almost at his goal and he eats a lot of pickles.. hope it gets easier for you soon.. Martha

You guys are great. I did not know about the pickles jello and celery. Waiting on my shipment of medifast I did order some cracker. I had two pickles yesterday they were heavenly. my weight was a bit up today-probably the sodium. How many pickles, clelery and jello are allowed? Thannk you for you support. :)

I am on day 10 now, and the hunger pangs have dwindled tremendously. I eat a couple of pickles a day and a stalk or two of celery...it really helps.

Hi I did a little research and this is what I found--sf jello(2 a day)--bouillion(2cups a day)-celery(3 stalks a day)-MF crackers(1 pack a day)-Fast soup(2 a day as treats) 2 tbs of bbq sauce, or ketchup or mustard a day--pickles(1-2 large a day).. I am far from an expert but I'm sure Nancy will check in soon but I bought both of the medifast books and this is what I have found(also looked on the forums) hope it helps__Martha

Great on the weight lose. I think hot salsa gets rid of hunger pains. Dip celery in and enjoy. Something about the hot does the trick. I celebrated my birthday yesterday and I am down 12.75 lbs. I started May 14th. I am so excited I usually stop with all the other programs at 10lb and never get over that hump and my DH is so supportive with this program I am thinking I am living with a differnt man. He usually doesn't even pay attention because I have failed so many times but this time I am going all the way. We went out for supper and I stayed on program. YEA for me!!!Oh by the way I turned 58. UGH Judy from Iowa. Anyone else out there from IOWA?

Hi Judy! What a great success in 6 short days!! I know the bouillon really saved me when I experienced hunger in the early days. Something about something hot on your tummy...

Hunger

Postby Jan » June 8th, 2005, 6:40 pm

I think the greatest thing is the robust tomato fast soup made with 2 packages soup, 12 oz hot water, l tsp fat free coffee mate and l splenda. It makes the best cream of tomato soup with little carrots floating in it , and it is a "feebie"!!

Misty's progress

Postby shirgall » June 15th, 2005, 8:27 pm

Well, I just posted our day 14 progress in the Weight Room, Misty didn't tell me about this place until today, although I knew she was typing furiously somewhere.

Net: After 14 days I'm down 12 and she is down 15.
