Day 1 - Kim

Checking in....

Here is how I did today - I'm hoping for comments/suggestions if I need to change anything. I decided to do the 5 & 1 plan:

8:30 - Shake
Water.... 10 oz

11:30 - Shake
Water....10 oz
1 piece sf gum

12:00 (driving to take my daughter's shopping) - 2 c. chicken bouillon

3:30 - shake

Pickle

Water...32 oz between 12:00 and 8pm

4:30 - MF oatmeal w/1 tsp Splenda

6:30 - 2 C. bagged salad
1 serving (about 3 slices of deli smoked turkey)
2 Tbs. light balsamic vinagrette salad dressing
1 diet pepsi

8:30 - hot tea w/Splenda and a TBL or so of ff creamer
1 MF bar

I think I still need to drink 12 oz of water - unless the boullion counts??

So what do you all think????

Well, so far - so good. Less of a headache today. Still some rumbling going on down there and definately am ready for my lean & green meal. My DH is more cranky that I at this point.... :roll:

Doin Great Kim!

For me, seemed like on Day 3 I had more energy - the ketosis I guess was beginning to kick in. Hope this is true for you two. It's a great incentive not to cheat remembering the headache during the first couple of days and not wanting to go through it again. Hope it's downhill for you both starting tomorrow.

Hi Kim! I think you are doing well!
Boullion does not count towards your water, and a good rule of thumb that I use (I think it was posted on this board somewhere!) is to take your weight, divide it in half, and drink that many ounces of water per day.
Since I'm at 260, I'd need about 130 ounces of water per day, make sense?

Good luck, you are almost through the toughest part and soon it'll be smooth sailing to Skinny Island! LOL :water:
