Day 2 for two

Postby desertmomma » March 18th, 2005, 5:44 pm

Well the hunger pains subsided for a few hours, but making the kids diner was weird. I usually eat the kids crusts haha...almost popped em in my mouth from habit. Everything looks so good. Not even the crap that should but, broccoli, ham and cheese, oh my god CHINESE FOOD. I am actually emotionally freaking over food over here. I am truly obsessed. I love the medifast meals....it helps, my oatmeal was soooo yummy today. I ate 4 meals by like noon though. I need to learn what products do the trick for what time of day, like how different the hunger levels are after I eat them. The oatmeal fills me up best. How bout you guys. Oh and broth saves me!

Hubby on the other hand is troopin along like nuthins wrong!!!! If hes hungry he aint showin it, and hes chipper, and of all things going outta town til Sunday night. I packed him a cute little care kit with all his medi meals ,shakers micowave bowl, and a few crystal lit tubs and a pitcher.

I wonder if well see a difference when we see each other again!!!! Its only a few days but hey ya never know.

Hows everyone else tonight?

Desertmomma.....Maybe He's just being strong for you.. :weightlift: .and maybe God willing he is Medifast full....I sailed thru my first 3 days...no side effects...no hunger..etc..........I can relate to your obsessions...they are a nasty disease.. :devious: .believe it or not I have been obsessive free since Medifast.. ......it would be wonderful if it stayed that way....anyway I agree.... I LOVE THE OATMEAL...but there hasn't been anything yet that I have tried and not have liked...but it seems that oatmeal has that warm comfortable satisfaction......I also love the chai....I have it at night before bed... :snooze: .....be sure to have ALL your meals...and plenty of water and when Hubby comes home Sunday your definetly going to be lighter ... :D

Enjoy the night

Hey Momma. My husband did Slim Fast to drop about 10 lbs when I started this. He too showed no signs of any pain at all, and within a week he was done! :x

But...the head hungries (as Nancy refers to them) will be gone shortly. I made lists of things to do when I was having a freaking out moment. things like go get car washed, put in load of laundry, fold one of the 2 million baskets of laundry, take a nap....I refused to do any of that unless I was in a freak out moment. It really did work. If possible, I found that getting out of the house, or getting into bed, was the best thing for me when it was really tough.

Now, although those tough times are behind me (lasted about a week) I do admit they come back occassionally. I left the house the night my family had pizza. But I survived beautifully on the night they ordered in chinese! Don't worry. Stick with us and we'll get you through! I came here a lot when it was bad. Just to read and laugh and feel surrounded by support. It really worked!

Have a great weekend! :D
