Day 2 for me

Postby Lil'Bit » October 21st, 2004, 6:05 pm

Well, I have finished day 2. This morning when I got up I had a trace of Ketosis. Still trying to figure out things about MF. I get up at 5:30 and at 6:30 yesterday I had an oatmeal, which I thought was very good. I didn't have to add any sweetener! Then at 9:30 I had my first shake and let me tell you, I thought it tasted like Chocolate frosting! 12:30 I had another shake. At 3:30 I had a bar and 6:30 I ate grilled sausage with bell peppers and a salad. Before bed at 8:30 I had a shake. Drank all my water too.

My problems are that we eat late in the evening. The last time I had a shake was at 3:30 today and it is 8 and I have had 2 strips of celery and we are fixing to eat in the next 30 minutes. Does anyone think eating so late will be bad?

Alright. Have a great night.

Good start, Lil'Bit. I'm not going to answer your question about timing because I think it'd be just an opinion where there might be better info around here from someone else. Sounds like you're doing fine -- mmmmm -- yes, chocolate frosting is exactly right. The best. I have oatmeal in the closet for when I digress to other products, but I've heard that it's good and I look forward to trying it one day, even if it's part of my maintenance plan. The more MF I have, I think the more tweaked my brain will be for remembering that I'll still be on a leash, of sorts -- it'll be a MF leash!! And I'd rather be on that leash than rebounding to my old haunt weights.

Glad you're on your way. Have a good day tomorrow.

Hey there, Little Darlin' ~

No worries about having a meal later in the evening. I know, I know, we are so programmed from other weight loss programs and companies to not eat anything after 6 or 7 PM.

With Medifast, the important thing is to eat every three hours and sometimes that means eating at 8 PM and at 11 PM. As long as you carefully space your meals, going no longer than 4 hours between meals, you will be just fine, Kiddo.

Medifast products for the most part taste really good. After all this time that I have used them, I still enjoy their taste! :bib:
