Day 19 and still going

Postby Bseaton » January 19th, 2004, 11:15 am

Things are going good. I still think about food but it does't obsess me. I still enjoy grilling for my family even though i cannot eat any of it. I still sit and drink water while they are eating and it doesn't really bother me. I am still trying to not seperate me from everyone else even though what i am doing is totally different than what they are doing. I feel good but am really looking forward to going to the doctor on the 30th to get checked and see what i have really lost.

Great attitude. So, do you feel like you have lost? I am only on day 2, I hope that on day 19 I feel as great as you do. :D

:D
Barry keep up the great work... this plans works as you can see by the many posts.
I know it is very hard to sit and watch your family consume meals. I drink tea, boullion, have another shake or stay busy with dishes and such. I think it is awesome that you grill for your family!

Hey, Barry ~

You ARE doing an awesome thing for your health and for your family!

I am very proud of you for being able to be around food and not cave in. You are on your weigh to a healthier new you.

It will be really good to hear your doc's comments when your doctor scopes you out. Have the doc order a complete blood panel so you can see your cholesterol levels and blood pressure changes. How much have you lost so far?

My gosh Barry-- I admire your strength of character. You must be such an awesome Dad to grill for your family and then go about your merry way. This inspires me to have even more resolve! If you can grill then I can cook and walk away to have my Medifast! When I encounter this, I'll think to myself, if Barry can grill and walk, then so can I!
