DaVinci syrup find

Postby monkeymom » March 26th, 2005, 8:54 am

Hey there everyone. Well I really thought Spring break would be catch up time for me, and I planned to do lots of posting here also, but it didn't work out that way. I think I was really needing a break or something, and I was totally lazy until Thursday. So now I am paying the price! Study all weekend to be ready for midterms Tuesday. Welcome to any newbies that I haven't responded to.......I've been reading some, but just not time to post.

I did want to share a pleasant surprise I had a couple of days ago though. I found a nice variety of sugar-free DaVinci syrups at TJ Max. Ther were $5,99 each, which is a couple of dollars cheaper than ordering online, and of course there's no shipping either, so it was a good price I think. Of course they didn't have the very wide variety as the online store, but I got Kahlua, Hazelnut, Caramel, Amaretto and Irish Cream, so I was happy. The woman who checked me out said they carry DaVinci routinely, she also said they carry it at Marshall's. Just thought I would let you all know so if you have any of these stores near you, you can check it out.

Happy shakin everyone!

Oh............and Happy Easter weekend to all! May you have great success avoiding the mashed potatos and chocolate bunnies this year

Wow-- I never would have thought of TJ Maxx as a place to find those syrups-- great find! I'm definitely going to stop by the one near my house this weekend and hope they carry 'em here. Thanks for the tip!

Ya know - I wasn't as thrilled with it as I am with my normal cookies that I make using vanilla or almond extract. Funny huh? Not sure why - but I was so excited about it - and it was a let down. :(

I still have the caramel to try - will let you know how that one pans out.

davinci and tourani sugar free syrups make my day! I love the peanut butter flavor in my chocolate shakes, and carmel and marshmellow mixed into a chocolate shake, and so many flavors for the vanilla shakes of course huckleberry rocks my world. I am running to my nearest Max store to see if I can find some :D

Thank you for the tip, MonkeyMom :kool: - I go to TJ Maxx all the time and have never seen them in there before - some crazed Medifaster must run in there and nab 'em before I get a chance to do it!

Hey, Tumbleweed, welcome to you and we're glad to have you with us. :byebye:

DaVinci syrups

Postby Seaside » April 4th, 2005, 1:05 pm

Wow. I went to our local Marshall's and loaded up on syrups that sounded good -- at 5.99 a big bottle, these will last me a while.

I got hazelnut, raspberry, and spicy chai. Just made a shake with the vanilla mix and the spicy chai and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. As good as the calorie-laden chai latte from Starbucks. Can't wait to try it with my Magic Bullet mixer (they were on sale on HSN this weekend). I despise the vanilla shake plain, but it mixes well with other things. I think I will try the spicy chai flavor with the banana mix for a really exotic flavor. MediFast faux- banana daiquiri, anyone? :pour:

Just got some boxes of the chili mix, too; I will doctor it up using the good suggestions from this forum. I also have some chipotle chile powder and flakes that I get from Arizona (terrific! Try them -- <snip>no urls please - Mr. Snippy</snip>) that I will be put in the mix for some Southwestern zip.

Yay! DaVinci syrups make things more interesting.

Another Sugar-Free syrup and sno cone maker

Postby Laramedifast » April 10th, 2005, 8:26 am

Hey all, I was at TJ Maxx last week and discovered another sugar free syrup brand that I tried and really liked. I got the chocolate raspberry and it's made by "Artisan Coffee Roasters." It was only 4.99 for the same size bottle and I liked it just as much. Also, for the sno cone lovers out there, I splurged at Wal Mart the other day on a Rival Sno Cone machine for 24.98 and am happy with the results if anyone else was seeking a good ice shaver... It even passed my husband's non-dieting approval!

I just might have to go get one of those sno-cone machines. I think my kiddos would love it!

Cool!

Wally World is gonna love the Medifasters, eh?

Hey, our kids can set up a Snow cone stand this summer to earn $ for summer camp and we can have Medifast Shake stands to earn some $ for our skinny clothes accounts. :cheermed:
