Thanks for the hello all. I am blessed with the country I live in. (you can have the extreme cold though) Late night snowy horse- back rides in the winter, and fishin, fishin, oh and did I mention FISHIN" in the summer.

Kim, I am on my way to plow ya out! Put the shovel down and shake one up while you tuck in for a good movie!

Today

Postby Kim » January 9th, 2005, 7:39 pm

went pretty well so far. I have to get some more water in and another mf meal - but all in all it's been good.

Izabelle - which part of the Northwest are you in? The drifts where I am are getting pretty high..my daughter (who's been pining for snow) is now tired of it - and we've only had about 2 weeks of the real deep stuff!

Great job, Kim! Hope you got the last MF and the water in!
I had a good day too, MF-wise...otherwise it was pretty dreary and work-filled, so at least I didnt add to the misery by rewarding myself with food that would only probably make me feel worse in the end. Yay me for staying on program!
Unfortiunately, i should get at leat anther hour's worth of work in beofre hitting the sack...probably getting up early too (sigh) but for another great medifasting day!!!!

ps...moose...sounds wonderful (the animal that is, not the desert)...no snow here in Jersey, it's just kind of cold and grey. Eh.

Kenai Peninsual, Alaska, Kim. Lots of moose, bear, and did I ever tell ya all about the fish?! LOL (halibut and salmon by the ton)
Also see bear, coyote, lynx (rare), caribou(near Kenai) etc... It is a regular zoo at times.

Hmm here's me...I suppose I had an "on-program" day...I did have two bars though...sigh...so I feel slightly guilty. I'm just going to make sure to keep drinking ye olde water and plan out a spectacular MF day for tomorrow!

Day 6 and all is going well. I was starting to worry whether I could use the products or not because the first 4 days I had such a Migraine. Thank goodness I started near the weekend, I don't think I could have worked Sat/Sun. But finally on Monday, I woke up headach free.

The good news is I was so busy feeling yucky, I never felt hungry, I didn't want to eat, although I forced the packets down at 3 hour intervals. The bad news is, now the Vanilla shakes remind me of how bad I felt and I can't stand the smell or taste. I guess next order, I will have to go with Chocolate....Beth

Hi everyone -

Postby Kim » January 11th, 2005, 10:52 pm

today has been a pretty good day. I have not gotten all the water in that I need to - I like water but boy do I struggle with getting that much in. I have been drinking a lot of herbal tea - so hopefully that compensates a bit. I still have one mf to go tonight.

Coco - don't beat yourself up - I understand how those bars can go down so easy. I have to really discipline myself and stick to one a day - I really like them. I have been eating a lot more of the oatmeal and chicken noodle soup this time around.

Mindovermatter I know how the headache things go - my husband and I get them too. I hope that you are feeling better!!

Good morning all-

Last day of week 1 and I feel great. Thanks, Kim, the headach seems to be a thing of the past.

I'm so excited that I'm feeling this much energy so soon into the program. Quicker than Opti-Fast and the food is good except for the nilla shake issue.

Have a good day!!

not so good........

Postby Kim » January 13th, 2005, 5:14 pm

last night I was doing ok until my husband bought and opened up a big bag of peanut m & m's. I thought - ok, I'll just have another bar - which would be a better choice - then as the night wore on I caved. So I ended up having two handfuls of m & m's as well. I'm irritated at myself - and him for bringing them home! today has been ok - but I'm not feeling too confident..just hanging on...

m&ms, huh?

m&ms = mania & madness

Gosh, your husband ACTUALLY brought a pounder bag of m&m into your home? What was he thinking?

We need to send Guido to visit your husband - he needs to have his thinking straightened out a bit.

A couple of HANDFULS of m&m's has you revisiting Day 1 again...think before you put it in your mouth, "Will this put me closer to my goal?" If the answer is "no," get yer buns outta there! Back away! Beep! Beep! Back away and be afraid. Be very afraid!

oh hello hello,
I was out of state for a little while there, but I am happy to say I am back, and reporting a good MF day to you :D. I hope everybody's still doin' great. I am fabulously tired (nothing to do with MF, everything to do with the work I am trying to avoid lol). I think I'll gulp down some more water and hit the sack.
