Count me in...I've always wanted to go on a cruise. I'll take a peek around and see what's available in February 2007.

Ooooh...if I could recommend a cruise line, it would be Norwegian. For my youngest's wedding present, I gave him and his wife an 8day cruise down the Mexican Riviera. They both raved about it when they got back.

Nice thing about NCL is that they have Freestyle Cruising, which means you don't have to get all dressed up to attend any dinners and you can choose when you want to dine, anytime between 5pm and midnight, and you're not limited to a "buffet" or set meal. I think they have something like 10 restaurants on board to choose from. So, at least we'd be able to get some variety in our "lean and green" meals

The itinerary that Tony and Liz went on went from Los Angeles to Acapulco to Zihautanejo/Ixtapa to Puerto Vallarta to Cabo San Lucas and back to Los Angeles. It was an 8 day cruise and I know they will be operating from January through April of 2007.

Just a suggestion, to give folks something to think about.

if things go right with my boyfriend and he has his residency for Canada; we can probably go. I should be on maintenance by that time.

I say February or May would be best though.

This sounds like tons of fun! I'm in for either a cruise OR a tropical destination like Cancun, and I'm flexible date wise assuming it isn't a super long trip since I'm a self employed workaholic

Also, please tell me I won't be the only single in attendance!

I vote for Royal Caribbean, they have the same open dining and such as NCL!

If you guys plan something during my "low season" (Thanksgiving to New Years Eve), I'm in. If not...you all have fun! I do know a travel agent...kind of. Have we found one ont the forum yet?

I'm still really interested. I have to put my .02 in regarding a possible cruise line tho...I vote for Carnival...only because they are less expensive than all the rest, yet still show you a really good time

ALSO, in case you are like me and MAY have to bring your kiddies, they have a MOST EXCELLENT kids program....my kids never wanted to be with our family, they cried when Camp Carnival was closed!
