LOL... I am going on a six month cruise starting in June! Too bad, it's in the Persian Gulf

We should be home for Christmas, so that's a highlight we are looking for.

I have never been on a normal (civilian) cruise. Just our military cruises.

It sure would be nice sporting a bikini!!!!!!! I'll have six months getting in shape for it! You guys could send me care packages filled with Medigrub LOL :mrgreen:

Terry is always trying to hint around that he would like to go on a cruise. Our daughter Becky and s-i-l went on a cruise and they loved it! Their pictures made me hanker for a trip at sea.

Now, LoriBug...do we hafta wear babing suits?

Leopard Woman truly is hot but she feels a bit nervous about parading about on a cruise ship wearing a bathing suit...

January and Feb are my busiest months ~ everyone makes New Year's resolutions to get healthy in January! My phone doesn't stop ringing in January. Middle of February might work. I'll definitely need a vacation then!

I think if we were to do a Mexico cruise on the baja side we would be out of hurricane zone pretty much. They have them that leave from Los Angelos and go to Catalina, Ensanada and further depending on the length of the cruise. We are all so spread out in the US that coming up with a depart area may be the hard part. I am no travel agent but have dreamed of a cruise for Years!! Everyone I know that has been on one says it is the ONLY way to go! I really hope we can get this together!! Would be soooo exciting. What a great incintive that would be. Im IN no matter where we go!!

LOL I guess "pretty much" being out of huricane territory may not be good enough, since we will all be so thinny we would blow away for sure!!

Hurricane season is USUALLY Aug - Oct. Now we all know from this past year there can be some stragglers. But late winter early spring should be a safe time to plan for. Give everyone a little more time to slim up!

I have another idea. How about 5 days in cancun, with a group rate it should be just as cheap as a cruise. The benefits would be that there would be alot more to do. Hike the ruins, site see, water sports. AND NOT SURROUNDED BY BUFFET TABLES. :lol:

Would like some feed back.

Sometime this next month I'll get in touch with my Aunt's travel agent and see what kind of group rate we can get. What for, say 5 nights? I've found that 7 can get kind of long. What do you think? And how many do you think would be interested. The more the merrier and the cheaper!
