Crucial Cruise Question #5..How Much???

Postby mellowmom » May 24th, 2006, 5:21 pm

MIght as well get down to the nitty gritty. Where we can go will depend upon how much we can comfortably afford to spend per person on cruising. Also will affect the length of the cruise.

Hmm, this is a tough question. How much I would spend depends on the destination and the length of the cruise and the date of departure so I know how long I have to pay for it. Should we be submitting our maximum no matter the detination, length or date of travel? Is it possible to get some choices without the travel agent knowing our bottom line?

Thanks to everyone doing the coordination of this trip, you guys rock! :kool:

Can we have a $250-$350 catagory?????? With a group rate, and a shorter cruise, this should be doable...unless you're including airfare in those prices. :)

Sure, I'll add a $250 t0 $350 rate. I didn't set it up originally, because the lowest discount rate I saw for various cruises was right around $350 for a 3 day cruise. The rate is without airfare, so everyone should take that into consideration. (Looks like no one wants to be the first to enter an amount.)

Just a reminder, none of this is cut in stone. It's just to get an idea of what type of cruise we can afford to take, both in money and time.

I'm going to ask Unca if it would be possible to have a Cruise Chat next month to discuss the different matters in a real time basis. There are so many variables that a poll cannot cover so the chat should be able to clarify things, or at least get us on the same page(s)...

Darn..it looks like it won't let me add $250 - $350. I guess just post your reply if $250-$350 is what you'd prefer to spend.
