I got a call yesterday from my credit card folks because someone tried to use my card number to buy a $350 camera, and the merchant had flagged it as potentially fraudulent. I've only given my card number out once recently, and it happened to be the day before when I was calling about my TSFL order (normally they just use the info they have stored, but there was a system problem).
Obviously, this could have happened any number of ways and the two are probably completely unrelated. But I do need to ask. Has anyone else here had a similar problem recently?

Nope -- and I just ordered 11/04 ~ of course, they just sent the package today, apparently! I'm pretty upset about that!

I have not had a prob. Discover called me 18 times in past 3 days so I got nervous, but it was about my interest rate.
