You know Jayzoe, I would use the journal any way that is good for you, for some just being able to have a place to be negative is a positive...and remember at the end of the day, it's your journal, and if someone does not like a negative thing you say, they are free not to let the web door hit 'em on the hind end!

Just remember keep plugging away!

yup, i use my journal to rant and get my feelings out, WHATEVER they are. Now, on to Jamaica, GOOD FOR YOU GIRLIE! Wish i had a vacation planned soon. 245 is definitely realistic and you might even surpass that! Although we sometimes hit roadbocks, compliance works wonders. :D

Compliance...OHHH???? what a novel idea. Actually I was planning on stopping over at Katesmom to get her going, but I am in THE WORST MOOD EVER...carpet cleaner broke, phone is dead requiring me to be on the phone with my cable provider for 3 HOURS :x :x :x last night, only to call back today to see when they were coming out....THEY AREN"T :x :x :x :x :x :x :x Guess they are darn lucky I still have the internet.

Scale was nice 1/2 lb loss. Works for me. OH and just to add more to the pot, as you know I put my shakes in a pile and what comeup comes up...have managed to do most well. Well today I had my first Vanilla. Uh, I think I might prefer the warm sea salt. It was like oh no no. So I dug em all out and my next 6 meals are the same, these puppies goota go. I think I may make them punishment, if I do not comply, the next day I have to have the meals I dislike the most. Not a bad idea really.

Well off to Katesmoms house...

The last few days SUCKED...I gained 3 lbs overnight after hitting 256....DARN! Then the site was down, double darn, and well it's not been a good few days. I hope Sat is better. Glad the site is back up.

The one nice thisng is I am going to a speaking engagement with Kate and Jon Gosselin, the family who have aset of twin and a set of sextuplets. I am excited, I enjoy their story and find them to be down to earth and admire the fact that they refused to reduce when they found out they were having 6. So, something to look forward to.

Katie....what an awesome idea with the second ticker! I know, Jon cracks me up. It reminds me of my husband and me, we constantly bat back and forth, my girlfriend once said, geez, I so won't marry. I was like, you know, the fact that I call hime Jack.... every once in awhile, we so are able to laugh, and in these time laughter is needed.

Not that I have been laughing, I am shocked by the sudden straight MOOD I have been in for 3 days! My husband has wisely just stayed in his man cave and left me to stew...

Okay...so about that lean and green...There I was , minding my own business, when BAM, my hubby wants to go to this Mexican resturant. I am thinking, I will find something grilled, no cheese, it can be done. The result, mixed grilled fajitas, with the green stuff. Okay a little off on the green, when we get home I will get in a few more greens, it will be okay.

Food comes, I am starting to think this was a really good idea...tasty tasty..
10 minutes

I start getting this pain between my sholder blades, dizzy, NOT feeling good at all, hey I didn't have no stnkin' Tequila, what in the world.

Finally, I excuse myself to the car, blame it on MF, think the food just not agreeing with me and MF
REALLY start feeling bad, like before was just a test, heart is racing, I am thinking is this a heart attack or somethin...okay now the breathing is getting hard, really getting dizzy

can't breathe...see a bunch of fire fighters in the parking lot and decide, crap I need help ( how humiliating), I stagger up to one, and am like, uhh I don't feel good can you help me, he ( dream boat I might add) quickly sits me down, starts all the embarrassing crap, and quickly comes to the conclusion I am having a shellfish reaction...

Nice happy shot of epinephrine...and a trip to the doc. Ends up I has a severe, severe reaction. How humilating!

I am a crab eatting fool, I love seafood and as of 1 month ago I was fine. I now at the ripe age of 42 am part of the mass of people allergic to shellfish.

That all being said, I NEVER EVER believed the whole you can develope this allergy all of a sudden, thought that was poppy cock...well folks I am hear to say you can. I will be carrying a shot with me now at all times and a bottle of Benadryl in each car. I am sworn off of Mexican for a good while, and just because Jose and Patron are Mexican, I am sworn off them too!

I am off program next few days, but don't worry I won't be pigging out, more like staying in bed... :puke:

So, Crazy Maisy ~
I hesitated even posting a get-well-soon-sorry-to-hear-about-your-frightening-experience comment,
because.....uhmmm.....helloooooo!.....I'm Mexican! Can you handle it??

I am sorry to hear about your frightening experience, but how fortuitous that those firefighters were
so readily available! I'm allergic to bee venom and I know well the feelings you described.
Even though it was embarrassing for you, it's better than being dead, right?
Although I do think you're taking it a bit too far with the swearing off of Jose and Señor Patron.
That's more than just an inappropriate generalization ~ it's pure craziness in my book. :nana:

Hope you feel better soon, and here's some Sojo's Mojo to help you along!

Hola Sister...

No just Mexican food, and with all the puking today, I guess I will deserve a get out of puke free card for a little Jose...but to tell the truth, I doubt it! I am shocked at how crazy sick I am today. The fire fighters were actually cleaning up an accident at the other end of the parking lot, and I have to say, right place right time thing.

This is God's way of keeping me on program, when the Savannah convention happens I will only need to be pointed back to this date in my journal to keep me on the straight and narrow.

I'm off to see the wizard...

Definitely an allergic reaction. Happened to me at the TSFL conference, got bitten by something.

Glad everything is okay, but sad about the fact that shellfish is a no-no for you now.

Keep on it... you're doing great.

Okay Crabs are gone....  I am back OP this morning, quite happily. Only 17 days until Jamaica. Hey on a good note, remember that passport, JUST applied for. It will be here today. So yes to all those that wonder, you can get a passport in under 2 weeks on your own!

I plan to hit the beach this weekend and cook a bit, I am way too white and a little presun can only help at this point.

So about the Maryland Crab, does anyone know if it has real crab in it?

OH, also, while on the subject. My husband a few weeks ago in an attept to have me take vitamins gave me a cactail including Glucosomin, I was sick all day, Glucosomin can not ne tolerated if allergic to shell fish, I had NO IDEA. Now all of you know also.
