Cracker question???

Postby Lisa Renee » August 26th, 2005, 8:26 pm

Got some crackers in my order today. I know we can have one packet a day... Should I eat them separately than my medifast packets? I know I can have them with fast soup or my lean and green, but wouldn't it be too many carbs if I had them with lets say--my chicken and wild rice soup? How long after a MF supplement should I wait to eat my crackers?

Always got questions..lol...I love not being hungry, so don't want to mess up the ketosis ;)

Strawberry ~

There is no need to wait between Medifast packets - you may have your crackers with the Chicken and Wild Rice Soup, with a Fast Soup, to dip into the Essential 1 Chicken Salad or you may enjoy them all by themselves and just because you feel like having a packet.

Whee, live it up!! It's cracker heaven - all 10 teensy weensy itsy bitsy crackers!

What kind did you get? I love the crackers with any of the soup or at night with my salad.

got both, had some last night. Kinda thought I might have felt a spike in hunger, but it was so mild, could have been in my head. Do you ever have an increase in hunger after the crackers??? :pace:

Thanks

Nope, they do not give me the hongries.

They are the perfect snack for me - I carry them in my purse and because the little bags have air in them, the crackers do not get crushed even when I slip my laptop in my purse.

That's interesting. Do you always wait 4 hours between meals and how do you fit all your meals in that way? I have to do every 2-3 hours because I like to be in bed by 9pm or so... Not always, but that's the goal On top of that I am having 7 meals total a day because I wasn't loosing on the 5 and 1 so my health advisor told me to add a shake and when I did the scale started going down again. Is it ok to always be taking my shakes etc. every 2 hours? That makes for a 14 hour day which works out for me. Is every 2 hours ok?

It is best to eat every three hours and to never go more than four hours.

If I ate every three hours, I would only get 3 hours of sleep a night because I am eating 7 times a day. That's why I eat every2 instead. Hopefully that's not harmful to my progress. Not much I can do about it. :(

Nope - two-three hours is just fine. When a person stretches it out to 4 hours, our stomach is just about empty by then.

Its funny cause I haven't been hungry at all. Last night my stomach was growling, but I had no hunger. WEird how our brains work and how ketosis shuts down hunger, even if our stomach is empty.

Thanks for the help guys!
