Maybe you’ll never slam-dunk, pole-vault or triple-salchow your way to the front of a Wheaties box.
But Curves, the Waco-based fitness company in a race with Kirstie Alley and Splenda to take over the diet world, is holding a contest for women in which the grand prize is a chance to appear on a Curves Cereal box.
The “Real Change, Real Women” contest isn’t about how much weight women have lost, the company says, it’s about “how your commitment to weight management makes you feel. What unexpected things can you do now? What surprising changes have happened in your life?”
To enter, go to www.curvesfoods.com and click on contest. You’ll be asked to submit an essay about what your commitment to long-term weight loss means to you and, optionally, send a photo. Deadline is Nov. 7. The public will get to vote on finalists after Dec. 1.
See the Web site for more details and contest rules.
